Really dissapointed to overhear a conversation between the reception team today whilst waiting for my appointment (23rd may 4:45) … one receptionist explained to the other “youre more likely to get an appointment if you’re nice” and then went on to explain “that’s what happened with Misses P, she was rude so she didn’t get what she wanted, if she was nice I would’ve helped her” … this is horrible, what if help was really seriously needed..

Then came another anecdote “the other day *patient* called up, she’s usually really rude but on this occasion she was nice so u decided to give her what she wanted to reward her good behaviour”.

I was the only patient there so I assume I walked In on what I as meant to be a private gossip.

This bias behaviour from reception could cause somebody to not get the help they need! Please take this into consideration. I understand you probably deal with a lot of frustrated people, but all they’re looking for is care and for their needs to be taken seriously.

Terrible, I never get a call back as promised for regular B12 injections I need every 3 months, I booked an appointment at the end of November and could only get a routine appointment for 8 weeks after. They moved my appointment last thing the night before as the GP i was seeing was sick, which is understandable, Turned up in early Feb. at 10:30 thankful I could finally see a GP. however they were almost an hour late getting to the appointment, I told the GP I had a few issues that I need to discuss, was told I have 5 minutes so could only deal with the most urgent. I was lost for words when she said that and i have to admit i have completely lost all faith in forest health since its merger with the other surgeries, the whole group now is failing badly. but its okay they send me text messages.

where is the quality of care or compassion?

It is imposible to book an appointment over a phone after 8 o'clockm the phone is constantly switch off. I tried to see GP after a car accident but the Lady who work at the reception (who is obviously not train in medical professional) refused to book my appointment. She asked me to go to the emergency even through I was there ealier and they sent me there. I called emergency lindline and even they said I should see GP but she still refused to book the appointment. I went to the practice myself next day very early in the morning when no patients was there. 2 ladies who supposed to be working on reception were so busy chatting together and not doing their jobs and I had to wait 10 mins until finally someone came to me. They still refused to book my appointment and asked me to call to practice and book it over a phone and asked me to leave because the practice was busy (no patient was there while I was there). I hope carma is back and they all get the level of help they are offering to their patents. Moreover I have been a patients in their practice for about 3 years now and never seen a GP, nor been able to book appointment over a phone.

I have to say, the past couple of doctors my husband has seen have been very good and compassionate. He also gets a callback the same day he phones up.

UPDATE: While I’m not happy I had to wait 8 weeks, I was contacted by a doctor today (16/11/23) who was very helpful and took the time to listen and assist me.

Receptionists are great but I have no idea what the issue is with the rest of the practice.

18/9/23: I requested an increase in medication and was told I’d hear something within 48 hours.
Two weeks later, I hadn’t heard from anyone.

4/10/23: I called again and was told I’d hear something within 24 hours.
That was two days ago.

10/10/23: Called again and was told my request is there but there’s no timeframe on when I’ll hear back.

Thought this was a health group but have come to realise it’s a circus come comedy club. Barely entertaining, not that funny, with jokes only sent by text message.

This morning, my husband and I attended a medical appointment at Forest Health Bagshot Road. Although our english are not so fluent. Dr. Pigott Elizabeth, who was kind enough to assist us with finding a phone interpreter since we weren't fluent in English. She explained my husband's physical condition in detail and was very patient with us when we had questions. Her approach helped us feel relaxed during the entire process. We appreciate having such a competent doctor who demonstrates excellent care for patients. Despite negative comments about the NHS, we recognize and are grateful for high-quality doctors like Dr. Elizabeth. Thank you for your dedication to the medical profession and for providing excellent care to your patients. Keep up the good work!

I struggled with getting access to patient access. A very lovely and patient lady named Claire was wonderful, truly wonderful in getting me back in line.
I have multiple health conditions and rely on patient access a lot. Claire I couldn’t have done it without you. Thankyou so very much, you’re amazing x
