Felt compelled to leave this review after yet another situation where the staff at this centre have gone above and beyond to help navigate the basics of moving appointments, getting prescriptions sorted, etc

Couldn’t be more grateful to the reception and secretary staff - I imagine that this is a tough job at times, but they have consistently demonstrated a genuine kindness alongside being professional and providing psychological safety.

repeatedly invalidating and patronising, act like their patients are something to be compartmentalised and jettisoned rather than humanely addressed. minimal humanity in their approach whatsoever, you would have an easier time getting treatment from AI and that is saying a lot because i am not its greatest fan.

this isn’t just me, i know people who have horror stories about them. they do not understand patients with mental health issues let alone patients with trauma induced mental health issues. if anything their service actively exacerbates them. it is a place that you come to at your lowest and leave even lower than you could possibly imagine. put simply, avoid.

Very lovely, supportive and hardworking staff. Have been attending Florence street for a while now, and it is brilliant (especially the AED team, who are very good at what they do and always make an effort to make a difficult condition more manageable!)

These guys are genuinely trying to help. I could not be happier with the service I recieve from Florence St. I hear so many unhappy reviews from my contemporaries about their Mental Health Service. I have 0 complaints. On the contrary, the psychiatrist, psychologist, CPN's have all been brilliant! So much so I'm reluctant to leave the service!!!
Honestly, if you can just talk about it and be honest - even when that's embarrassing or degrading or incriminating!! But just be honest- they won't judge you, I swear, they've done as bad themselves! - they didn't tell me that, I just like to imagine ...lol...
Seriously tho.....
These guys saved my sanity by teaching me how to forgive myself....and manage my illness....I'm a Florence St Fan!!

Absolutely terrible service , asked for help for a girl that needed help and the actually questioned her about her safety with me and them offered her to go into a homeless unit with drunks and drug addicts, so much for asking for help
She came out and wanted to kill herself again
