The wonderful team from First Line Healthcare have given me the most amazing help and support over the past year. They have provided excellent personal care to my 96 year old housebound Aunt, from February 2024 and ongoing. They are always on time, extremely caring and unfailingly jolly and lovely to her. They were also my absolute life savers during the final three months of my Mum's life when they took over her personal care, visiting 4 times each day to help me look after her. My poor Mum was in a pitiful state - she was completely bedbound, weighed less than 31 kgs, was blind and had the most horrific advanced Alzheimer's, dreadfully frightening hallucinations being one of the cruel aspects of the disease she had to suffer. The Alzheimer's caused her behaviour towards the Carers to be truly appalling - she was verbally rude and physically very violent. It was incredibly distressing to witness this 4 times each day, but the First Line Healthcare Carers were wonderful with her and managed to see through her behaviour to the essence of the person my Mum had been. They managed to avoid her getting any bed sores through their diligent care and they were always hard working and consistent. I can never thank them enough for what they did and how much they helped me. Literally, I cannot praise the whole team enough.
