Where to begin. I am writing this review as Head Office refuse to reply to my e-mails. May I say that this is no reflection on the ladies who come out to Mum as they do their best. However, First Choice are only concerned about the money NOT their clients. The girls are so busy they are usually late arriving and so rushed when they do. They are resigning in droves They send male carers to elderly ladies who would not dream of being put on a commode by a young man and yet they say they look after their client's dignity. My advice to anyone considering their loved ones to look at using First Choice. Think twice.

Tried to get a family member care with this company, was told they had no capacity. After speaking with one of their carers, the run where I needed care, is empty and they need service users. Denying a private service user. After looking at review on here, I think they done us a favour.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY FOR CARE.

My experience of first choice a service user has been mediocre at best. I have disabilities and mental health needs and the service was organised by adult social care.
They are consistently late, they cancel your care any time they please (stating they have no one to cover you) The admin staff are rude, uncompromising and uncompassionate you my needs. I’d inform them that last minute changes cause me to have panic attacks which then ruins my whole day and that I then have no care. My needs, although not as bad as some, are unique and they have taken no time to really understand how they impact me when they act as unprofessionally as they do.
The staff turnover so quick and people come and go because the company just don’t treat them very well. I’ve seen and heard this first hand from the staff that have come to my home.

This week alone they were supposed to have been twice and they’ve cancelled both days so far. So I’ve no care at all this week.

I’m disgusted and appalled at the way I’ve been treated. And complaints don’t get you anywhere. There’s just no point. Hence this review! I hope it informs further people from using them in the future and sparing them the confusion and inconsistent care this company has given me.

So this dreadful an poorly managed company is utter appalling in time keeping an also only send 1 carer when should be 2 to save them selves money left right an center when they are paid for sending 2 carers they use to care for my paralysed little brother who would be left on christmas day as they say had no cares to put him to bed also their christmas do was taking place one night in December so he had a choice
From the manager to go bed at 6pm or sleep in wheel chair
Also some of the kids they send are rude an not right for caring for people
Just drama after drama with this company stay away from this company unless you want be let down daily
