Reading these two stories was a deeply resonant and emotional experience, as they deftly capture the complexities of queer identity and the search for belonging. “I Don’t Know How to Be Gay” struck me with its surreal humor, but also the quiet sadness of feeling out of place even within your own community—something that felt both familiar and poignant. It made me reflect on the pressures of conforming to societal expectations, and how isolating that can be. “What is a Family” was especially moving, as it beautifully portrayed the pain of familial rejection and the bittersweet realization that love and support can be found outside traditional definitions of family. Both stories left me with a sense of warmth, validation, and perhaps a renewed understanding that identity and belonging are not fixed but evolving journeys, shaped by both internal discovery and the communities we build around us.

Reading the short story about Robbie really helped me see that’s it’s fine that I don’t fit into one group. My tribe is a curated collection of one offs. Very well written. Thank you.

I read both I don't know how to be gay and What is a family shortstories and absolutely loved them. It addresses difficulties that lgbt+ people go through (feelings of not fitting, having been rejected by loved ones) and puts them into a light that conveys a positive message that helps to tackle the hurt, and to change perspective about it. I would recommend them to anyone.

I recently had the opportunity of participating in both online and in-person Qi Gong sessions with Linda, and the experience has been truly transformative. Qi Gong, with its gentle yet powerful movements, has helped me reconnect with my body, mind, and energy. Whether you're looking to reduce stress, improve focus, or simply reconnect with yourself, Qi Gong offers a holistic approach to well-being.

What made my experience even more special was Linda’s incredible guidance. She is not only deeply knowledgeable about the art of Qi Gong but also radiates warmth and positivity. Her teaching style is patient, encouraging, and attentive, making both the online and in-person sessions feel personalized and supportive. I always left her sessions feeling more grounded, peaceful, and uplifted. I can’t recommend Linda and her Qi Gong sessions enough!

Thank you Linda!

This is a great organization for the lgbtiaq+ community. They offer great mental health support with expert knowledge on queer specific situations. They also host a range of different community building events. I recently had the pleasure of attending a webinar exploring queerness throughout history and it was illuminating to say the least. It was also presented in a much more friendly and personal way than typical webinars. Highly recommend to everyone!

Best trauma therapist I've ever had! I feel completely free to share and space has been held for me by my therapist. The techniques and skills I have gained from the sessions have been life changing. I started my journey with Fighting Fear last year at a wellness seminar in Chiang Mai, Thailand and I have since continued online sessions every week. It's has really helped me through a lot
