Extremely rude reception staff. I called today in regards to my motherâs prescription which for some reason has not been fulfilled for three days. I politely asked if everything is okay and wanted to explain that this is anti depression medication that causes real bad side effects if suddenly stopped being taken. What I got instead was receptionist raising her voice at me and trying to tell me that Iâm lying because it is impossible for them to make a mistake. I donât really understand where all the aggression has come from as I only wanted to make sure they send out the prescription asap to our nominated pharmacy so my mum doesnât suffer the side effects. I didnât even try placing blame - just wanted to make clear we need it as soon as possible. She then proceeded shouting at me as to why we donât have a two months supply but only one month to which I said I have no idea - as Iâm not the GP. I then asked if this time is possible to have two boxes (aka the two month supply) as my mother is going away for Christmas and she will not have a way to order another prescription which in turn means sheâd be without it for a week which means severe withdrawals from medicine and dangerous effects on her mental health (youâre not supposed to stop taking antidepressants unsupervised). Which I tried calmly explaining but was just met with even more hostility and shouting and then was told no and that I can just buy them in any pharmacy abroad - which is just not true because you need prescription to get them and we get it via UK GP. Again tried explaining that but only to be talked over in aggressive manner. So not only I was treated with insane hostility but also fed false information. I am genuinely shocked and appalled and I can only imagine the damaging effects such attitude wouldâve had on my sick mum if she had called instead of me with this inquiry. Shame on you for treating people in such demeaning and disrespectful manner.

This nurse at this practice is brilliant. The rest of the practice is truly awful. Iâm 28 weeks pregnant and called on the 31st December for a prescription. I was told I wouldnât get it by the end of the day so the receptionist made a telephone appt with the doctor on the 3rd Jan. On the 3rd I had an email saying the appt was cancelled. No calls were received. I look in my medical notes online and the doctor says he rang three times! I have no missed calls on my phone so this is a lie. Absolutely disgraceful.

Attempting to access basic medical care in 2025, should not be akin to entering into major negotiations to convince an alleged GP, that a child who had been hospitalised as an emergency due to a severe asthma attack, later identified partially collapsed lung and Strep infection is seriously unwell.
She had been referred to the Practice by the hospital consultant, for on going treatment and monitoring, well within their remit one would have thought and part of the joined up supportive care between hospitals and GP surgeries. This however has not been the case.
This GP saw fit to load even more pressure onto our already stretched hospital emergency services excerbated further, by seasonal increases due to Flu and other such viruses.
I can only imagine that such contemptous disregard for fellow health care professionals, is borne out of a lack of knowledge, confidence and /or expertise in dealing with this particular health issue.
In conclusion and in respect of this practice if professional health intervention or care other than the application of a plaster is required, then I would advise that maybe, it would be wise to look elsewhere especially where our precious little ones are concern.

The rudest doctor I've ever seen in over 10 years I'm in this country! She asked me only a handful of questions, she dismissed me with an anti-inflammatory for my wrist. I wanted to tell her about another long-standing pain at my knee but she coldly dismissed me saying that I could only tell her 1 problem. I honestly thought she was being ironic and I smiled...whereas she took it personally and she started being very upset as if I was laughing at her and being disrespectful. I told her that there was no reason to be SO upset and I'd rather leave honestly. I think she deserves to be schooled in manners if she's meant to work with the public. All the wonderful NHS staff I've ever met have always been on a completely different level of politeness and professionalism. Next time I'll call 111 or in general I'd try to avoid this practice all together. It's not worth it.

I have been a patient for around 30 years at this practice. I have received nothing but kindness, professionalism and wonderful care here. Dr Bukhari, Dr Umrani and Dr Imran have always treated me with such respect and care. I was seriously ill over Easter and was not expected to recover, but thankfully I pulled through and I would sincerely like to thank Dr Bukhari for the couple of home visits that she made and most definitely all the care and support I have received from All your staff at your surgery.
