Having to give a 1 star as there is no option for zero stars.
Always hard work trying to get an appointment with a doctor and usually end up seeing a nurse practitioner.
Main disappointment with this practice though is the abysmal staff on reception. Zero empathy, zero professionalism, zero care & respect, total arrogance and zero responsibility.
Ask for a sick note due to a family bereavement & the staff had zero empathy & care and instructed us to submit the sick note online fellview website. A week later still had no correspondence back.
Where are they employing these people because they should not be employed in this important, sensitive & caring area of work. Try and defend the NHS but when poor standards as these are at the forefront, it is a worry.

Having recently moved back to Cumbria my experience of health care here has been dreadful. Transfer of medical records went smooth but certain details were ignored so i had to find a doctors appointment - first challenge! I've never sat in an appointment where the doctor looked at his watch more than me. Tried to get another appointment this week for an injury that has reoccured - only advice was ring 111.
The people are friendly, but the quality and availability of service is appalling.

Wish I could give this no stars. Reception are a joke. No apology for the wait when you do get through. Tried several times to get an appointment at any of the surgeries after 45 minutes of being on hold to get to the front and spent 4 minutes with it just ringing constantly.
In the past the Receptionist has asked what I need to see the doctor for but then asked for more details than they should. They arent doctors. They need more phones the staff just stand around chatting in the back.

Worst doctors I have ever been to X you can't get a doctor's appointment. I got transferred to this so called Doctors surgery because my doctors had closed down. Numerous times I have tried to get an appointment by phone and walking in to make an appointment all they say is ring 111 if it's an emergency or ring up at 8.00pm in the morning which I have done and nobody answers which causes me more stress and health problems. Also leaves me with no mobile credit. What's happened to the pateint care? Discusting service. The place is always empty nobody about not even a patient in sight, is this place actually a doctor's surgery makes me wonder .

Discusting service off the receptionist and the doctor in general hung up on twice. Reception at beech house not interested. Started going in about her own problems. Discracefuk service to patients. Sickens me the phone eventually rings for fifteen minutes no answer the. Back to number eighteenth in the cue. Have a poorly four year old here. The service is frustrating and likely wants new staff who knows what ther doing

Shocking . Fell view is not fit for purpose. Website not updated not open at 8am . Note on door now open at 8.30 . How the hell are you supposed to see that from home . Sat ringing outside doctors from 8 am . Engaged tone constant not switched over to queuing system until 15 to 20 minutes later where I was then number 14 waited and walked inside at 8.30 and told by reception no appointment. The whole service is atrocious and needs overhaul. We have a right and expect better. Also how can the QCC grade this practice good when they fail on multiple levels what you can expect from your gp service. The complaint from people in our area are through the roof but we need people to log it on social media and google . Trying to get an appointment with with our MP.

Tried to book an appointment via phone, as you can't book one in person at the surgery. It really is an '8 o'clock lottery' ,took 45min to get through,only to be told there were no appointments left, (according to their website, you can walk in, phone and book an appointment as there are over 270 available every day!) please try again tomorrow. absolute shambles.

Almost impossible to get an appointment. Receptionists are rude and arrogant, making you stand at the reception desk until they have finished talking to each other. Waiting times are ridiculous you can be easily waiting an hour after your scheduled appointment to be seen. I would not recommend this surgery at all, there are plenty others in Whitehaven
