I'd give a zero rating if I could. My 92 yr old mother tried to phone for an appointment this morning at 8.30, 22, 04, 25. She hasn't seen a G.P in 3 years. She couldn't get through on the phone so pressed 2 for a call back. Got a call back but couldn't connect to the person. I drove her to the surgery 9.15 to see if she could make an appointment. There was one person in the waiting room.
The receptionist didn't even look up from her p.c screen, didn't ask my mum her name or how she could help. Just told her to use Patches ( ha ha ha and what a joke that is.) My mum explained that she doesn't have a p.c and doesn't know what Patches is! The reply was ' well, that's the way it is.'
What an absolutely, ignorant and unemphatic staff member she was.
Shame on this surgery, it used to be tne best but now it's the pits.

Wow where do I start!! Let's start with the receptionist! What a terrible attitude she has, during my time waiting i observed one lady being told the receptionist hadn't checked her in on computer so she had gone down as a no show! They tried fobbing lady of by saying nothing they can do except make another appointment as they didn't have time to fit her in, luckily the lady stood firm and eventually was seen, another couple came in only to be told the appointment was at the other surgery not this one! Poor woman looked ill, they said it never mentioned going different surgery. After witnessing all this I decided to ask whereabouts I was in the queue, receptionist said they are running behind and wouldn't give me a definite answer, so I said in that case cancel appointment and left, I am now in the process of paying to go private, I would suggest anyone to consider this or at the very least change surgery

I have been with this surgery for a while but my experience with them is absurd. If you called for an appointment is either the line will be enganging as if is deliberately or sometimes hold you on a queue for a long time but they always ends up saying there is not slot for appointment everytime.how can a surgery tells you to take a child that sick to a walk in centre at widnes. What of if the parent
are not mobile. I will rather go to the chemist than to call this surgery for Doctor appointment. Is seems as if the receptionist are picking and choose who they wants to give the appointment to. Surgery open at 8.30 you started calling for same day appointment but it's always end up 'no slot again today.

I can now categorically say that I made the right choice to leave Fearnhead Medical Centre. I took my 68 year old Mum to an appointment tonight for a check up which she was asked to attend. After being called in 10 mins late it was clear the Doctor was rushing and had no time for my Mum. She proceeded to ask why my Mum was there and what she wanted from her. Which was a joke because she should have read the notes. My Mum then asked if she could look at her ankle as its been swollen for weeks and struggling to walk (couldn't get an appointment - shock!). My Mum was pretty much told I can only look at one thing as I've only got 10 mins. The Doctor spoke to my Mum like a child, clearly had no time, spoke over her (and me) or empathy towards her and saw my Mum as a problem. She was rude, unsympathetic, rushed, and clearly had something more important to do than look after her patients. I'm not the type of person to disrespect someone but I had to write this review as quite honestly I'm still in shock. I don't know what has happened to this surgery since Covid. Can't get an appointment EVER, have to go through Patchs at 8am (and by 8.05 all appointments have gone), can't book in advance, can't book F2F. It's extremely frustrating and disappointing that patients are now treated in this way and it's deemed acceptable and your pushes to call 111 or go to A&E. I dread to think how the elderly or other people who don't have support cope in this situation.

Can not believe how poor this surgery is. The staff cannot get any disrespect, however they can disrespect everyone. I have been trying an appointment with them for over a week, being short of breath and coughing horribly and never got one, because whom I am a Portuguese foreigner there is never a place for me in their queue even being a disabled person with a single eye and even that with a bad sight, and thus also happened here, after 3 unsucessfull operations.
Nothing really matters, they think they are above anything. Today I was declined another appointment, rang 111 and was offered a phone appointment at this surgery, for immediately after receiving a text message saying that I should follow an advise link and they arbitrary cancelled the appointment of 111.
After this, my British friend rang them, and miraculously they booked an appointment for this afternoon. What would you call this? I call segregation and evilness, I call these behaviours discussing.
Does that ignorant people know how many British people live in Portugal? Do they know how many are going to my country for holiday?

Partner was completely inappropriately triaged to a paramedic for management of nocturnal asthma. As the paramedic is a non-prescriber, they were completely unable to offer any pharmacological management and my partner remains at risk of serious exacerbation of his condition at night. His consultation was reviewed by a pharmacist who declined to offer treatment as clinical examination and observations were normal (because he only gets symptoms at night!) He was not informed of the qualifications of the professional he was seeing beforehand; had this occurred, he would have requested to see a prescriber and everyone's time would not have been wasted.

Went to the clinic with my son for an after hours appointment, we're with a different clinic but the GP was great, very nice. The receptionist was also fab, she even offered my son a chocolate when we left.

I was so relieved he got seen by a GP on the same day and they were really nice!

This has been my GP practice for many years and I had no complaints however I have noticed a definite decline in the past 3 years. More recently i have been having some serious health issues and had issues with repeat medication as it is not on my patient access which means I have to go through the ordeal of being on hold for up yo 40 minutes to be told I need to email it to them. Today I have finally applied to a new surgery. I spoke to Dr Taylor this evenin who constantly interrupted me and had a smart answer for all of my concerns and complaints . In the end I tried to explain to him that as I have been waiting 3 months for a cancer diagnosis I have become forgetful and struggled to keep on top of my medication and ordering of repeats etc. His reply was well I don't have ti.e for thst now I'm going home !! Well Dr lucky you going home to your fully laden table in your lovely home which no doubt you have worked very hard for however your skills as compassionate and caring human being being are sadly lacking as are those of your staff. I wouldn't bring my dog to you and feel I would have received more care and compassion from the vets than I have from you and your staff. I would not recommend this surgery under any circumstances.
