Impossible to get a doctor's appointment! As soon as you ring at 8am, it won't even go through. Cuts you off! Then after 2 hours, when do get through, all the appointments are gone with the GP and get offered an appointment with a nurse. Who then tells you at the face to face appointment " it's best to see the GP!" This has happened 3 times when I've had no choice but to see a senior nurse. How do people actually get through after 8am and manage to see an actual GP?! Bring back the morning surgery as covid finished 2 years ago!

My wife has been given appointment twice with a relatively new nurse who googles or phones others to find what needs to be prescribed. The medicine didn't work for two weeks. Finally she got a third appointment with a doctor today who said the medicine she was given was incorrect. Thanks to the staff who arranged a quick appointment today and thanks to the doctor who got to the bottom of what was required. Please do not allow appointments with inexperienced nurses when patients need to be seen by a GP. My wife could have been better two weeks ago had she got an appointment with a doctor at first place. She had difficult two weeks and this could have been avoided.

I never leave reviews, but I just have to. Over the years, I’ve always been dismissed by the doctors and nurses here.

Never a proper check up, just get looked at and told “you’ll be fine, have some paracetamol.”

I’m an adult now with the same issues but I’ve given up on making anymore appointments… it took them 5 months to diagnose me with a bacterial infection for example, and that’s only because I went to a different doctor (Moorside) on the weekend, who was angry that they didn’t give me any checks.

To this day, I’m still affected and cannot eat like I used to, which has been affecting me every day due to dizziness. It’s really annoying since it’s also affecting me during these A-Levels…

It's Monday and for the first 45 mins you just get two beeps and get cut off. Then if you get through, you're like caller no.17. Covid is no longer a threat, why don't they bring back walk in surgery like before? If you do get an appointment, it'll be with a nurse, not an actual GP! What is happening with this country and the NHS?

I wish If I can give 0 star lady in room 8 is absolutely wasting everybody's time leaving you with your sickness if they don't want to give medical help to anyone they should close the surgery why wasting NHS money on their wages.

Pathetic doctors surgery they’re scamming people and getting paid for doing absolutely nothing was on time for an appointment when I went in they were on the phone and computer when I was seen to It was 4/5 mins late and they said I was late to the appointment and said the doctor can’t see me however it was their fault I was registered late and I was sent back without another appointment pathetic

Been going here for about 35 years, I used to say it was the best doctors surgery around, never ever had an issue. Now however it’s just awful, struggle to get appointments because they’ve changed their system to that awful call on the day method, no longer an open surgery in the morning, saw a male nurse who I found to be rude and dismissive, my appointment was cancelled with no warning or reason. Just a catalogue of failures really, good point is dr wood and new dr allerman (not sure of correct name) have both been fabulous with me and I thank them for that.

Been with this Doctor’s for many, many years now the service has gotten worse and worse you need to know when an appointment is needed 6 weeks in advance to get to seen. Some of the reception staff are very hard to deal with. If you work you have to take time off as you can’t get early or late appointments. They seem to think that everyone can attend between 10am and 3pm. Much better service and care in the old building.
