I spent 5 years at farmfield , the staff and doctors went out of their way to make my life hell, lying about me at every opportunity, playing the victim about everything and exaggerating, I used certain staff to smuggle me in contraband at a price and give me information about other clients, I only got moved from farmfield because I was assigned a fair consultant, secure mental health these days has gone to pot! 80% of the staff are African these days and don't speak proper English and believe they are there to punish you, don't expect an easy ride in mental health!

I was admitted to this hospital. They planned to discharge me to the NHS' temporary accommodation BEECH in the Sheffield. Everything was going flawlessly, until during one of the last ward-rounds DR Ovens asked me if I have any suspicions about being discharged to this place - I wasn't been expecting any trouble with them, so I answered no. Few weeks after I was discharged, water systems in the BEECH facility was contaminated with the bacteria. My skin was painfully itching, my fingers and genitals started to swell to critical size, Underlying parts of my skin was exposed on my hands. Staff of the BEECH was delaying my chance to speak with the doctor, excused by lack of the
free appointments. Few days after being contaminated, BEECH staff complained about my wellbeing and sent me back to the same hospital. During this admission, nurse Diana was laughing about reverting skin condition.

Farmfield Hospital is a privately owned low and medium secure psychiatric unit (I'm guessing whoever wrote the other review about having their eyesight saved by Dr 'This-n-That' was having a laugh). My own experience of the place was much less funny. The following is just my own opinion: I thought staff generally did their best for patients, but overall the hospital suffered from a high staff turnover, which impacted on the quality of the service and contributes to low staff morale. The physical location of Farmfield Hospital is also a problem as it is isolated from most of the local amenities and has very poor public transport links. This limits opportunities for patients to gain the practical skills and confidence needed to return to living independently in society. This hospital performed poorly in their last government inspection (2015), which rated Farmfield as 'requires improvement' for every measured category. My doctor (Dr Thisnthat) was very caring and nice. I healed from the car crash quickly, and managed to see again, I have been blind for 34 years. And I have learned how to control my car now that I can finally see the road,. driving is harder for blind people).

Fantastic treatment, I can't thank the staff enough. After years of torment inside myself, they delivered a medication change that has allowed me to think clearly. Thank you SABP for sending me here, I apologize for the drama I caused while unwell.

NEEDS CLOSING DOWN kILLED MY EX THE FATHER TO MY CHILDREN !!!GAVE HIM WRONG MEDICATION AND OVER DOSED HIM THIS HAS BEEN PROVEN IN COURT!! I HOPE ALL STAFF INVOLVED GET WHATS COMING TO THEM AVOID!!

They never have staff and at the end they can't rehabilitate the patients they always short of staff the food is very poor patients they have to oder take way from their poket I bin there
