This place is so useless for anyone with complex or unusual mental health symptoms (that's not bad enough to need hospitalisation). They have poor experience with anything that's not standard symptoms. I had generic talking therapy for a fixed number of sessions (with a trainee who was clearly not able to handle my chaotic thinking and never had anything useful to say). I went though this system twice, got trainees both times and was finally discharged because they "ran out of" therapy to offer me. There's no long-term support, which is what I need. The "therapy" didn't help me. I'm not any better than before I first went there. The psychiatrist I saw before my therapy never even gave me a proper diagnosis - just a few "could be this, could be that..." But no actual diagnosis, so I'm stuck with an old mental health diagnosis that I don't believe is correct. Now I have to find the money for private help, even though I can't afford it.

Would like to make a complaint in regards to a Man named Peter that I spoke to this morning at Wonford House - my mum is currently been taken to a place of safety & is obviously a very upsetting time for us. The way this man just spoke to me doesn't make me feel like she is in a safe place AT ALL. Argumentative, rude & purposefully unhelpful. I would like to make a formal complaint- please advise how I am to do so. I have left my contact details on your answer machine.

If one star was an option I would pick that. Terrible service leaving people on the waiting list to get basic help for years and years with only some woman ringing up every 8 weeks to say we’ve not forgotten you. This woman has absolutely no medical/ mental health training whatsoever. I’ve given up with this absolutely terrible service. They are quick to throw medication at you but do not provide any additional help whatsoever.

I have been on the waiting list for four years but the worst of it was I couldn't even get hold of the mental health support team for months because they never answer the phone. No proper assessment and I don't even know what my care plan is. You have to do all the referrals and find all the people you need to talk to yourself.

If I could give no stars that would be more appropriate. Complaints are not recorded, communication within their team is near non-existent, they write formal medical notes with the idea of covering up their mistakes while writing, medical information recorded incorrectly. They failed to support or act in an organised manner. Any question brought by the patient about them, they default use mental state as to discredit the patient and cover their behaviour. I just received freedom of information paperwork that is written in a completely self serving way. Who do you trust if these people entrusted with the most important job decide not to pay attention and do not respect the job that they take a wage to do? absolutely appalling service.
