My child absolutely loves going to Excel from learning new techniques to seeing the trainers, as you are always greeted with a smile. My child is very shy and didn't have a lot of confidence, but for the month they have started going to Excel, I have noticed a massively difference in their confidence. They are always excited to go back and learn something new. They do 2 days a weeks and I can't thank the trainers enough for being so welcoming and helpful through my child's journey. They are amazing.

We love EXCEL! The coaches and staff are super friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and the focus isn’t just on what you might think - fighting. Each lesson has a behavior theme, like 'confidence' or 'respect' which is such a great way to teach life skills. Our son loves it and is learning to give everything his best effort...100%. Harvey has been training with Excel for 6 years. It has helped him be the mature, confident, strong and fit 13 year old that he is today. This year we watched him achieve his 1st Degree Black Belt and we couldn't be prouder. He loves attending classes, he's met some good friends and participates in activities in and out of the academy with them. It has definitely been the best money we have spent. We now train as a family too as it has encouraged us to get involved and take part.

Excel is a family run academy and have family at the heart, my son has been training for 10 years and has a great relationship with the coaches and support staff. Excel really want everyone to achieve their goals and will do their best to support members.

I can't say thank you enough for organising this for us, and to Charlene and Hayley who were outstanding trainers. They were so good with our clients who all suffer with trauma and they coached them so well, able to respond to what the clients wanted and differing skill levels. Even as we were leaving, they were still answering questions that the clients had. We really appreciate the time and effort they gave the clients.

The clients loved it, they were saying they would come again. One of the clients who came is usually really guarded and her caseworker told me she rarely smiled; however she got really involved in the session and was smiling throughout. This client has never attended any activity sessions before, so it was a big step her coming along and already she has been to another activity that was on yesterday and signed up for something else. Even in just an hour and a half it gave her a huge boost in confidence.

One of the clients has previously in the past has signed up for self-defence classes but has never found herself being able to step through the doors. She did this time and engaged in the class as Hayley and Charlene made her feel comfortable enough to do this. It may seem really small but that is a massive step for this client.

The other client, works in a care setting and she said that she felt like she knew what to do when residents grab her and it has given her the confidence to know what to do and how to get out when they do so.

The general feel of all the clients was they loved the session and have all gone away with more confidence.

In my kid's first Excel tester class , I have decided to send my kids here. And when they started their Excel trail, I was sitting there and saw how they teach kid's, that's motivated me to get into it too. I never ever done anything like that before, but whenever I watch my kids do it, I can't stop myself. most importantly all coaches and staff are so nice, friendly and so helpful. 💯 recommended. I'm very excited to join them.

We had Liam come into our school for an assembly! It was brilliant. had all children engage right from the start and throughout. The children all took away something from the assembly.
