I contacted Ersham House Nuring Home to arrange a visit. This was extremely efficiently organised for the next day.
I was welcomed upon arrival and shown round for friend mother. All the staff I met this week were warm, welcoming, and friendly. The registered manager and clinical lead who showed me around was happy to answer my many questions. The building felt vibrant. Residents were able to sit out in the sunshine on the veranda and garden . There are lots of rooms and space for activities. I loved the residents' artwork displayed in corridors and the activity room. It felt homely. Thank you.

I cannot thank all the wonderful, supportive, kind and caring staff at Ersham House, you are all amazing and professionalism is second to none. A Beautiful, peaceful setting that my Mum was lucky to be a part of. Thank you all for your kindness shown to our dear Mum and to us as a family too.

After having an extended stay In respite,I would like to thank the whole team.
Being able to get about and see the great team looking after patients with different ailments,I witnessed the hard work and sometimes upsetting situations the staff dealt with great care and thoughtfulness, something the family wouldn't usually see.
The manageress has a wonderful team.

The problem with this place is the owners. Never pay their staff correctly on pay day and a lot of staff have used their own money to provide things for the residents or so they can do their job around the home, and almost never get reimbursed by the owners. They mostly use agency workers, who quite lot of them can barely speak English, not very good when caring for dementia patients. They would rather this than hire regular staff. The residents do not get the care they deserve and pay a lot of money for. I would never put a relative of mine in there. DO NOT WORK HERE or put your loved ones here.

It's good working environment and the staff are all lovely and have a really good teamwork... The residents are looked after really well... The activities are great... Food is very good.

The problem with this house is Tim the manager who hates patients, yells at them and insults them, poor and defenseless patients. All the staff despise her name is Adriana, but I'm sure one day, she will be fired and denied the right to work in such houses. Because this is a cruel and very vicious woman. When she's on shift, work 5 days a week at night all patients are agitated and cannot sleep, because they know that now they will be insulted and humiliated. Therefore, please be careful leaving your relatives there.
