Hi

I worked with enthuse care as a carer around 7 years back and I really enjoyed it

I had to stop work due to a couple of mental health reasons and new medication

The management was very understanding

And when I'm in a bad place mentally I often think of enthuse care

I only worked with them for a year or a year and half but it still gives me fuel today

They even gave me the chance to go into education

Poorly trained and overworked staff. Several mistakes made some of which could have been dangerous.

They clearly have too many clients and not enough staff, their staff turnover is also high. We must have went through 3 or 4 different care workers during our time with them.

After speaking to some of the caregivers it seems there’s a disconnect with management they feel looked down on, underpaid and overworked all of which means the clients don’t get the service they deserve.

Pay your staff properly (you can afford to with the amount you charge us), stop thinking you’re better than the caregivers (you work in an office but you don’t earn much and you’re nothing special) and do what you can to keep your staff it’s not good to see a new person every other month.

Would have given one star but I gave an extra because the caregivers are nice.

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY: Yes this isn’t the time to ‘slate’ companies unjustifiably, but that doesn’t mean you can’t given your honest opinion on a business and this is my personal experience with your company, it’s easy for you to say here ‘we treat our staff amazingly’ and do all of these other things but it’s either a lie or it’s only given to some staff because all of the mostly 0 hour contract carers that I have spoken to said it’s a terrible company to work for.

You even have to prop up your reviews on here with blatantly fake ones from staff members. If you were so good to your staff and customers you wouldn’t have to do that.

I’m not saying these things just to slate a company, I’m saying then because they are what I’ve seen and I am letting other people know my experience with you.

Absolutely horrible. The ad on indeed said £12.70 the contract said £11.40 as they take some money for sick pay? I was never sick but ended recieving £11 anyways. The staff gossip to SUs about other staff members and staff amongst themselves and to other SUs talk about service users in an ill way. Jada(?) In the office is really lovely and friendly, the other members are hard to reach. For my shadowing as a walker stuck me in paulsgrove when I had no way to get there. Sometimes in port Solent, Drayton from cosham like I have rocket boosters attached to my feet or something. Also we're not allowed to hitch a ride with the driver carer and I felt bad asking. Also there are so many patients it's so stressful. And such a short amount of time you cannot meet all their needs. Unlike what they say there aren't breaks unless you happen to have a gap between two clients but then you need to be there before the allocated time. Don't fall for the trap just because it seems well paying. Shame I have to put a star.

Carers have no issues with parking across driveways blocking cars, and are rude when asked to move. Had a word with office staff who were fantastic, total contrast with some of the staff they employ.

This used to be a good company with lovely friendly carers. Within the past month, since a new manager has come into place, 3 amazing carers have been fired for stupid reasons and now me as well. The staff are not thought about at all and everything is based on negativity, there is no positivity from the management. You can work your butt off and not be recognised. I’ve been fired for not going to this office when they asked me twice. Management have every weekend off and then moan at us carers and threaten us with a meeting of concern if we have one day off and don’t offer to go out and cover on it. The SU’s I looked after were one in a million and I will miss them all so much. They also pocket a lot of the SU’s money - Champagne workers for Lemonade money.

Recommended 100 percent, the first care company I've ever joined and they are amazing. As they've got an amazing team that will look after you especially when you need help. Also an amazing manager which she is a lovely lady and she does the best to try and make everyone happy.
