I has the misfortune to break my humerus back in November 2022. After having suffered at the hands of one particular incompetent NHS consultant, it was suggested that I should see Mr Simon Lambert which I did in May '23. Mr Lambert took one look at the scan of my shoulder and immediately set the wheels in motion leading to my having an operation in August '23 which involved sorting out the mess and ultimately inserting a plate to immobilise the break.
Fast forward to February '25 and Mr Lambert was again called upon, this time to remove the plate as it had done it's job and the bone had healed perfectly.
At all stages of the process, both in August 2023 and in February 2025 as well as the various chats we had in between, Mr Lambert went out of his way to ensure that I was fully informed about what was in store and that I was entirely comfortable with everything.
I can't speak highly enough of Mr Lambert's caring and compassionate demeanor and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone requiring his services.

One of the most superb clinicians we have ever encountered. Excellent judgement, diagnostics and bedside manner with children. Could not rate our physician higher; he is truly a credit to his profession.

However - we also waited 15 weeks for standard test results. While results ended up being broadly positive (thankfully!) this wait could have had a devastating impact had the condition taken a different direction. I cannot say whether this is administrative, or lab failure but it is not acceptable.

Would have been 5 stars had the results been returned in a timely manner.

I was seen by the consultant immediately, who asked me to relate how my condition affected me and what sequence events took.
This was the first time in four years that I felt progress was being made. The consensus was that my issues needed alternative investigation by a consultant in an adjacent field, which is being arranged.

I found Sonal Patel totally unprofessional in her attitude and in her treatment. On the day of booking, she had confirmed that she had received all my referral letters and MRI Scans, however on the day she lost all of them and kept blaming Debbie for it. She asked me to re- send all. She wasted so much time opening the documents. Then look a long time reading. She didn't address my pain that I had come for. After she said that's all for today, there was no summary of plan. I was totally flabagasted. I would not recommend her at all. She boasted that she can tell problems blindfolded as she was so experienced which initially made me feel oh she must be good. But that was short lived as all quickly transpired that all was fake.

I had arrived 20 minutes early. But Sonal saw me 25 after my appointment time and there was no apology.

She wasted so much time trying to even open up the emails then read all the referral letters.

Sonal is an Osteopath but she offered me Ayurvedic treatment.

I cannot thank the Wellington Hospital for everything it has done for me so far! Mr Goldberg and his team have always taken such good care of me and have always been kind and welcoming. Before going private I had such little faith in hospitals and doctors but this place has helped give me back the confidence I needed and helped me to feel safe in their care. If you have been struggling with your health, I cannot recommend them enough and getting in touch with them to see if they can help! I’m not at the end of my recovery yet but I have a feeling my operation and my experience here will be life changing!
