Absolutely amazing doctors that’ll make sure to check out every symptom and possibility. They’ve never hesitated to get me straight into physio or refer me to a specialist. My old doctors would constantly tell me to see how I feel and come back or invalidate me altogether! whereas now I feel genuinely looked after! I have been to the Meltham and holmfirth locations and had positive experiences at both 🙂

Dr Ditchfiels has been so caring and compassionate towards my husband who has so many complex medical issues. sorting out hospital referrals, reviewing him and staying in contact with him. She is one pure professional who goes above and beyond for her patients. Thank you

Used elmwood for over 20 years, a great practice with really good drs
One thing that needs addressing is tracy, the receptionist, she is rude arrogant condescending. She thinks shes a doctor asking totallyb innapropriate questions and being to busy discussing peoples cases behind the counter.
totally unfit to be in such a position and is a bad mark on what is otherwise a great place.

Unable to fit me in for 6 weeks for a doctors appointment. Emergency appointment booked in this morning and told I'd have to wait atleast 30 minutes as the doctor is behind. Inadequate public service.

I recently visited Elmwood Family doctors and had a very positive experience. The nurse (I believe her name was Julie) was extremely kind and helpful, as I was quite overwhelmed with the appointment. I left the surgery astounded at how wonderful she was and just couldn’t thank her enough for being so understanding and caring. We had no wait time and everything was explained fully.

Moved to this surgery after various issues with previous. What must be 7-8 years since then, Elmwood has been nothing short of perfect. I always hear stories from friends about their surgeries who struggle to get appointments, phone lines busy. Elmwood have such a great functioning set up, I have never not had a phone call answered, never ever not been able to get an appointment. Their website too is one of the best I have ever used, seconds to order a repeat prescription, honestly can not knock this place at all.

I can’t express how much of a positive experience this morning was. Rang at 8, answered within 4 minutes or so even though I started 8th in the queue. Appointment at 9:10 this morning. Charlotte and Dr Morton were great at explaining stuff even though I probably looked like I didn’t want to be there. Pharmacy, home, bed.
