We’ve been using Elmar for a couple of weeks. They were able to set up twice daily care at very short notice and then added an all night carer the same day we asked.
I’ve been there most of the times they came and their staff have been beyond excellent. Always bright, cheery and friendly.
I have no hesitation recommending them and they far exceed not only expectations but hopes as well.

Elmar Home Care is a care provider you CANNOT trust. Their management are unskilled and unprofessional.

As a client, The caring service is poor, as you have carers with poor punctuality, failing to start on time, persistent lateness and also creating clinical negligence where carers have fell asleep on duty, especially when the patient is a falls risk.

Management are poor, they do not return your calls when you raise concerns and as a client you have to chase them for a response. When you raise concerns they fail to take notice but will respond when you raise the matter with your local council and CQC. Would not recommend, very poor service.

Car with registracion number WM72LEU, 2024.04.07 16:06 Bradford, really bad woman driver. Reckless driving, not following traffic rules, there was a huge traffic queue she cut all of it by driving in the wrong side of the road causing danger to other road users, almost hit our car trying to merge in with the traffic flow. Thats you call a ''carrer''?

The communication / organisation at the company leaves a lot to be desired ignored messages denying phone calls taken place. However this now seams to have been sorted by Nicola for me and I hope going forward these issues have been sorted

The care we have received from our carer Marta has been amazing I’d give 10 stars if I could . She’s professional kind caring . My mum with Dementia looks forward to her visits every day . We helps with tidying up makes her delicious breakfasts treats my mum like a queen. Always professional and has made my life 1000 x easier . She really is an asset to this company. She has great knowledge of dementia and always try’s to engage mum in memory games.

When my husband, Roger was discharged from hospital , been a terminal ill patient, a home care and nursing agency service was provided to look after him, 4 times a day and this was Elmar Home Care Ltd - Horsforth. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude to home care people who came to look after him, extremely dedicated people, reliable , very friendly and carrying , people who saw Roger not like a '' client'' or '' patient'' but more like a human being . For me home care people from Elmar Home Care Ltd - Horsforth were like ''life buoy'' always here to support me ( being on my own looking after my husband and working in the same time ) I strongly recommend this agency for families who are in the same situation like me

Where the service user comes first and the carers are supported, well paid, rewarded & provide excellent standards of care in the community. Proudly in receipt of the Investors in People Award 2020 after only being open less than a year in Horsforth. Employing local people, with a caring heart that is why Elmar can only be 5*

Really dissapointed in some terrible service received today. My uncle missed his sisters funeral when his carers didn't arrive to take him. This was booked many weeks in advance and had we known we'd have made better arrangements. The office staff were rude, arrogant and unhelpful when contacted. Absolutely heartbreaking for him and the family. Disgraceful. No Appologies received.
