A few days ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Eliza Palmer Care Home. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by every member of their team, creating a truly inviting atmosphere.

I had the opportunity to tour the facility and was thoroughly impressed by the spacious and comfortable rooms, thoughtfully designed to meet residents’ needs. During my visit, I also observed their lunchtime service, and the meals were beautifully presented and looked absolutely delicious.

The care and attention to detail throughout the home made me feel a genuine sense of warmth and comfort—a true home away from home.

Eliza Palmer Care Home provides a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to ensure residents comfort.Our staff always remain respectful,attentive and responsive to individual needs and we offer a wide range of activities.We have high quality freshly prepared food taking into consideration dietary restrictions and cultural preferences.
The home upholds high standards of safety regulations to ensure our residents are protected from harm and we have easy access to healthcare professionals, like GPs and other multidisciplinary teams.
We are proud that our home has a positive impact on the residents well -being and their family’s peace of mind .

From the moment I arrived at this gorgeous gated village, I felt a real sense of warmth and community. The setting is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-kept, and full of charm. It’s the kind of place that immediately puts you at ease.

One of the first things I did was pop into the village shop, and I was so touched by how friendly everyone was. Every person I passed greeted me with a smile and a cheerful “hello.” It was such a small thing, but it spoke volumes about the sense of belonging here.

It was clear that they genuinely cared about the residents, not just in the way they provided care, but in the way they interacted—with patience, laughter, and kindness.

I happened to visit on a Friday afternoon, just as the residents were settling in for a quiz and a glass of sherry. The room was filled with chatter and laughter, and I could see how much everyone was enjoying themselves. It wasn’t just an activity—it was a moment of joy, connection, and fun. It was so lovely to witness.
