Avoid avoid avoid. Worst service. Turn phone lines off. Told me we would be completing around 2 months before we did, so moved all of my stuff out, paid extra for storage and mortgage payments I didn’t need to. Did not communicate with me or my estate agents until forced. Then added additional charges on at the end, which if I didn’t pay would delay things even further.

I was initially apprehensive in going with a solicitor recommended by our estate agent, as we have heard some bad stories. The whole process from start to finish was an absolute nightmare. I sold my flat and instructed Elite UK Solicitors to help me with this. I am now currently going through the Legal Ombudsman to escalate this case, as the instances of where Yasar was neglectful and not even understanding of what my buyers solicitors were requesting from him. The solicitors I know reviewed the documentation and questioned whether Yasar even was able to practice. The whole process took 8 months because of Yasar holding up the process and not understanding basic documents he needed to provide. 6 months into the process Yasar decided he was no longer able to act for me and terminated his services. This was obviously down to his lack of knowledge in basic information he needed to provide. He didn't charge me for any work - due to the fact that he couldn't fufill his obligations under the contract - to actually complete the process. After this, I instructed another solicitor and they had no issues with providing the documentation that Yasar stated 'was not his place to provide'.

This company is one solicitor - Yasar Ali - and that's it. He doesn't have anyone else working there, and doesn't even have a receptionist. You cannot speak to anyone past 1pm and even if you do call before then, Yasar has no idea what case you are and doesn't respond to any enquiries over the phone, and email for that matter. He obviously takes on far too many cases and cannot work fast enough to process them, so if you are looking to get this done in a sensible time frame - please go elsewhere. This isn't the stress you need when selling a property in this climate.

Avoid. it seems many of these good reviews are paid for and fake. google it, it's easy for a company to buy positive reviews to get a good rating and cancel out the bad.

Elite were needlessly bad, and I don't know what they were playing at. There was no payment until the house sale was done but they just delayed and delayed things for no reason. It was so frustrating. I changed my solicitor after 6 months and with only 2 weeks to go, to save my house sale. They did not return calls for 2 weeks. They did not respond to emails. They hung up on me via webchat. I had no faith in Elite getting my sale across the line and would not have felt comfortable with them handling my money. Pay a proper solicitor and avoid adding more stress to an already stressful situation.
