Really good GPs surgery with friendly knowledgeable staff. They've been there when we really needed them, providing same day appointments when needed for my partner and baby. Highly recommend!

I'm not a patient here(Thank God) but my partner is, this is one of the rudest and useless health centres I've seen. They'll blow you off and delay ever appointment you'll book in, Receptionists speak to you like utter crap and come across really judgemental(tons of people have mentioned this) and also they also lie to you over the phone.
Specialists don't turn up or get told to turn up. Can't see your GP until 3 months time but can see a nurse practitioner in 2 months, which self diagnosis the wrong the problem, which results in prescribing the wrong medication!

It's easier and quicker to go to A&E, the GP's there were absolutely disgusted about this health centre and there was no comparison.

She's left and I recommend patients go elsewhere.

Doctors have made so many mistakes here with my health and the receptionists have come out with some stupid remarks I don't trust this surgery one bit

Sadly when I need my GP I dread the experience, everything seems elongated.

Logged a phone call from my GP on the app for 12:45pm call, I’ve been sick for 2 weeks and I’ve put off this process for this exact reasons. It’s now 15:35pm and still haven’t received my call.

Well not surprising after last year organising my asthma medical for first thing in the morning, the nurse was 30 mins late into the building so I sat waiting then she arrives with a Starbucks coffee in hand, running late but not late enough to stop and get a coffee at my inconvenience.

Next week I’ll change me GP and move back to Harwood.

On the afternoon of Monday 18th of September 23, I had an unfortunate issue with my back going into spasm, resulting in an unexpected ambulance ride to Bolton Hospital.

The following morning, I rang my doctors, Egerton & Dunscar Health Centre, and spoke to Lou (one of the reception team). I explained my previous day's antics and requested to talk to a doctor ASAP. She was fantastic, very polite, empathetic and genuinely eager to help. While we spoke, she checked my medical record and could see the notes from the previous evening. She verified what had occurred, reviewed details for which pharmacy would be the most convenient for me and assured me that a doctor would call me very soon. Within 60 minutes, Dr. Clare Peddie called me and ran through my symptoms and options for medication to aid my recovery.

Brilliant service and I can't thank you both enough.

Human nature is to complain and blame others for lousy service and poor attitudes, so credit where credit is due. The surgery made me proud - keep up the excellent work, everyone.

I have recently joined the surgery and visited today for a routine blood test - and I am petrified of needles having had bad experiences in the past and as a child. Lauren was absolutely fantastic, kind and put me at ease during the entire process and didn't judge me whatsoever, even taking the time to chat about how best to overcome my fears. So a huge thanks go to the wonderful staff at the practice from me!

Horrendous experiences, and horrible, often times nasty, plainly rude and judgemental staff that if you don’t feel sick or bad already will leave you feeling that way. If I were to detail the experiences I’ve had here nobody would believe it. The most recent one - waited all day for a call, the line was bad, kept going off, (not my line), line goes dead, nurse never calls back - takes me three attempts on different calls to extremely moody receptionists who interrupt, talk over me and actually heard one put the phone down at one point during the five missed calls to her desk before she was forced to answer. Then manage to get said nurse to call me back, when she does she tells me "it's not her line must be mine and she did try to call me back", (nope, no calls came through 100%), makes the process of getting a sick note feel like a Cruft's obstacle course arguing with me over extremely basic things, and yet - again - like the receptionists, talks over and interrupts me, every time she explains anything follows it with "THAT OK?" in a kind of 'ready to end the call' type manner. The one good thing is Dr Leach. Unfortunately he isn't magical or Derren Brown, so he's not enough to save it.

Honestly, I beg of you other potential patients, if you're unwell in any form, don't bother with these people, you will categorically feel worse going out than you did going in. It's a battlefield.
