Couldn't fault the experience with this service. I received a call from an extremely pleasant, empathetic and helpful nurse within 10 minutes of 111 refering my daughter for an out of hours call. The nurse was wonderful and got us an appointments booked within 2 hours. Upon arrival we were seen quickly (wouldn't have minded if I'd had to wait an hour as extremely grateful for such a fast appointment)

The doctor we saw was amazing, very pleasant, patient and understanding, determined quickly that my daughter had an infection and provided us with the treatment and advise needed.

Super appreciative of such a wonderful service from all involved including the 111 call handler.

Assessed by Dr Nikki Rouke in the out of hours GP service, who was professional, compassionate and diligent. Despite feeling very unwell I felt like I was in very capable hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better service. I would say she’s an asset to the profession.

Rude, obnoxious and abrupt young Asian female doctor with no manners, empathy or respect!!
As the daughter of a patient who attended ELMS and hearing that my mother was treated with utter disrespect and lack of compassion is disgusting being one of her fellow colleagues too! The lack of BASIC etiquettes is vile when patient-centred care is essential while tending to vulnerable members of the community, clearly this was not acknowledged! The “doctor” appeared to be quite dismissive, belittling and arrogant despite being a fellow Asian woman herself, which again makes me question her professional ability to communicate with patients who are in a much unfortunate situation that herself.
Apart from the VERY unprofessional doctor, quite fast and efficient alternative to attending A&E 🙂

Had telephone contact with one of the out of hours doctors this evening. Must say the gp I spoke to was extremely understanding, compassionate and kind. He provided my daughter with some medicine and gave me clinical advice regarding her symptoms. There was a wait for a call to be received but I understood this would happen and would rather wait for a call than unnecessarily sit in A&E. Thankyou for the great service.

Excellent service, fast, efficient and professional. Dr Brown was so kind and thorough when treating my elderly Dad. His driver was polite and kind. Plus the staff I spoke to over the phone were so helpful.
From my own experience I can only give it 5 stars.

Had a peanut reaction from a meal out on a Friday night, more severe than ever before. 111 recommended A&E but was told it’s a 5 hour wait when we got there and there wasn’t much that could really be done. After getting back home and getting warm my entire body broke out in hives and 111 got a doctor from here to ring me within 5 mins at 1:30am. Saw the doc at 2am and he was by far the best doctor I’ve ever had an appointment with! Sorted me right out and was very informative and easy to talk to. Wish he was my actual GP 10/10

3 years old with a cracked head. Got a phone call to take the child straight to minor injuries in Accrington. Drove to the place advised but...the Service was closed. Rang back to the number asking what to do and got a sarcastic receptionist and doctor. Really appaling Service. No empathy and quite inaccurate on their advice. I end up driving to a more centralised hospital which could have been advised straight away.
