I had my manual driving test at Paisley test centre yesterday. I was so lucky to have a really lovely driving examiner called Dougie. He had a very professional and calming manner which immediately put me at ease and calmed me down as I was very nervous. This allowed me to perform better and made the whole experience much more pleasant than I had imagined it would be. A complete contrast to my previous experience of a driving test 30 years ago when I got my automatic licence. In those days it really was a horrible experience. Everyone at Paisley test centre seemed nice so if you have an upcoming test try not to stress too much.

I have prepared to pass my drive test , really 110 percent, drive well , make , 2 small ( wee ) minor fault during test , and unfortunately unsuccessful . ( one way road , hadn't been marked 2 separate line at end of road to turning left or right ) so I have stopped at the middle before turn. And unsuccessful.
