My wife and I have been with this Doctors for 18 years. We have have always received 1st Class service. All staff are courteous, including receptionists. We hear horrendous tales from friends in Scarborough who can't get an appointment to see anyone at their surgeries for weeks. Friends that have been transferred from other Doctors in Bridlington to ours can't believe how good they are.

A caring practice ? Read on
In January 2024 they diagnosed after a 2 minute examination that I had a hernia and was told to lose weight and buy a hernia belt, by sept/oct i returned to request pain relief, they then examined again and sent me for a scan, next was a CT scan followed by a colonoscopy ( by now I was under the care of the hospital), colon cancer was found and a hurried operation was carried out in November, part of my colon was removed but I was informed that the disease had spread to my liver.
I am undergoing chemotherapy and hope to have more surgery to resection the liver soon afterwhich I will undergo more chemo.
Now to the caring part....I received a message saying because of my situation I should have a spring covid booster, which I would definitely take up, I checked with my consultant and he sad yes ok but it can only be during a rest period whilst not on cancer meds as my immune system is too weak, I have a 5 days rest period after 15 days of continuous chemo, I called the practice to tell them and that my next rest period would be easter weekend and the next was from the 8th of may and as usual I was informed by a highly medically qualified receptionist that there were no clinics at that time so I should should try and find somewhere else to have it administered, there the discussion ended.

Had an appointment with a lady the name of Sarah Blackburn (Hooe I've got the correct name.
I was there for my b12 injection.
I explained I'd missed my previous warfarin blood level check & was slightly concerned.
Sarah very kindly also checked my blood levels which I'm so grateful yo her as it turned out my blood level had dropped.
Fantastic service & a very nice lady thankyou again

I am. In severe pain following spinal surgery, I rang the surgery for more of the pain relief the hospital consultant sent me hone with and I didn't receive my call back so I had to take a mis match of pain relief over the weekend not caring wether I lived or died, I would rather be dead than have to live with this pain. No care given at all.. for me anyway.

Refuse to honour their own Shared Care Agreement for prescribed medication, I've not been given a reason

Well I'm looking for a new doctors to go to as my doctor is racist and people don't like to say that with us been a white colour, iv been several times and feel like I'm an experiment as they keep getting proscribe medication that as nothing to do with treating the thing iv told them about, it's madness

Prompt and efficient service. Maybe you have to wait 10 ish mins for phone to be answered but always given timely same day appropriate appointment.

Got to be the worst surgery around, the staff are so uncooperative and arrogant. Its a pity really as some of the medical are absolutely fantastic.
