I have been a client of Drage and Tozer for several years. The consultation is always very detailed and there is plenty of time to ask questions. They are quite happy to give an appointment if you have any worries about anything.
The staff at reception and who handle the choosing of frames etc are so helpful and there is no rush or pressure, they give you time to make decisions about what you want and then the fitting experience is very comprehensive.
All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending Drage and Tozer.

I trust Drage & Tozer completely. They are very thorough, have all the high-tech equipment, and they've never tried to sell me glasses or new prescriptions I haven't needed (unlike other opticians I've been to in the past). Also, it's worth being on the eye care plan - I've had a number of services free which, I'm finding very helpful as I'm getting a bit older and my eyes are misbehaving more often.

Having worn glasses for over 30 years now, I have experienced the services of all the bigger well known providers.
However my most recent experience with the independent Drage & Tozer was on a completely different level on every front. Extremely friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and the science of the process with the very latest high tech equipment, was incredibly impressive and interesting.
I rarely give reviews, but all three members of the team and the whole experience was deserving of this review. Absolutely first class experience, that's on a completely different level to any other provider.
Very happy that my vision is now in their care 😊

Fantastic opticians. Dawn is excellent , explains everything to you that she is doing with machines and pictures No rush . Didn’t need any new glasses but decided I would like a change. Jim was brilliant at helping me choose and also told me what he was doing with all the machines , measuring etc. just a brilliant opticians and everyone is so friendly and always smiling

Helen Drage and her team offer an exceptional service to patients at a practice equipped with the latest scanning technology. I cannot thank her enough for speedily diagnosing a small hole in the retina of my right eye confirmed and laser treated by hospital consultant within 36 hours. They offer a friendly, caring approach backed by state of the art diagnostic equipment. For someone with an increased risk of retinal detachment due to myopia, I knew was in the safest professional hands. Eye health is extremely important and you can be sure of the highest standards of care and professionalism at Drage and Tozer where I have been a patient since the mid 1980s.
