Only been registered 6 weeks and giving up already. Moving to another local practice. Initial medical with nurse was fine but trying to get past the 'gatekeeper' receptionist just to get an appointment is ridiculous. Being told 'we don't do doctors appointments, you have to see the nurse first' and then having to describe all of my recent medical history to the receptionist, for her to pass details to doc, for me to ring the following day for feedback (which could have been detrimental as it now turns out) is completely unacceptable. I don't blame the receptionist as she is just doing as is asked of her but the NHS has apparently gone mad!

Had a sinus infection, rang up and was told my appointment was at 8am the next day. I was in absolute agony all night, turn up and I’m told that there are no doctor there yet, and my appointment is rescheduled for 12:20. I arrive on time for my rescheduled appointment, and I have to wait 90 minutes to actually see the doctor. He goes out to his car, checks my height and weight for some unknown reason, insults my choice of university and eventually reluctantly prescribes me the medication. Overall a very bad experience, a 90 minute delay after my first appointment being rescheduled, only to be treated with utmost rudeness by the doctor.

Absolutely the worst doctors I have ever been too. I have travelled around U.K. And been to a few sergeries in my time. I have been registered there since August 2016 I have yet to see the doctor I could not tell you what he looks like . I tried to see the doctor when I first registered due to mental illness i had. I was told by my last GP to make an appointment straight away speak to the GP. I was told we don't do doctors appointments you have to see the nurse . I had to disclose my illness to the receptionist who then past it on to the doctor the receptionist then phoned me up to Tell me the doctor said go to open minds .there is a months worth of tablets prescription here. This was given to me without been seen or assets what my mental illness was or my state of mind I could of been suesidal or anything . I wanted support and guidance from the GP which I have had in the past nothing what's so ever. This is dangerous in my point of view and show a lack of care and compassion for people. My so is 7 has suffered a illness I wanted an appointment I was refused. Again the receptionist spoke to the GP. It was relayed back to me from the receptionist from the GP to write the history down of what my child had suffered and what treatment he had had . I took the information into the GP to phoned up by 3 different people for the information. I explained it has been Handed in oh yes it's here I'll speak to the doctor . To be phoned up to be told the doctor will refer your son to the paediatrics. I said what with out seeing him or examine him. To then I get another call asking for the information for the doctor I explained it has been handed in and I have been told he has been referred . That is with out seeing the doctor . So she was going to speak to the doctor who then phoned me back to tell me he has been referred but to come in the next day to see a doctor. The doctor did not even know why we was there. I'm still waiting for this appointment that was from November .
Every time I have had to have anything to deal with at this surgery Iv ended up frustrated in tears even to get a repeat prescription is a challenge. I was told I was down at been registered at another surgery they have in the next town that I have never stepped foot in or where it was . Even if you have something serious like cancer or you have a concern like I had you still can not be seen you have to tell the receptionist your symptoms to relay back to the doctor things get missed out . This is people's Heath and lives they are playing with this could be catastrophic life or death because medical conditions are not been investigated properly and how long has a receptionist been qualified as a medical professional. The receptionist are only doing what they are told this system is Dangerous and should be stopped ASAP . I have moved now to a new surgery and I have actually seen a doctor .

Must say in the last year I have had excellent care from doctor Mathews from receptionist staff and Sarah the nurse for her caring way explaining the cervical smear everytime I've asked for something been sorted straight away so really happy keep up the good work and thank you

Tired of speaking about my personal information with receptionists no contact with doctors or nurses but they will gladly hand anti depression tablets at will absolute joke of a surgery only recommended this surgery as a must avoid

Lovely people didn't wait long diagnosed me straight away it was actually lovely to see a real doctor.

Avoid at all cost, can't be seem, rang numerous times to try and get an appointment, had to go to A and E because they won't see me for a chest infection, just fob me off with any feeble excuse, going to change my doctors now!

dr Matthews and the nurse are great. its hard to get an appointment but times are wierd right now
