EDIT - The owner has now contacted me & is going to look into why this didn’t work & also look into a few other things related to this that I brought up. Overall this was a really positive interaction & I really appreciate the genuine attempt to resolve this. Rating & review has therefore been adjusted to reflect this.

The FAQ’s that Dr Julian points patients to prior to their appointment says you need to login to the app (apple) & wait for a push notification to join your appointment. However I received no push notification or message trying to rectify the connection issue before the appointment was cancelled & put down as “did not attend”.

I found the “did not attend” email quite inflammatory & it really upset me as I was logged in & waiting.

In the FAQ’s there needs to be a section on what to do if you are not contacted at your appointment time.

Also it would be useful to have known prior to the appointment that unlike a typical NHS appointment - if they do not contact you at the exact time of your appointment you need to contact them within 5 minutes of your appointment time - which is their cut off so as not to cause any knock on appointment related issues for other clients. Maybe this could be explained on one of the messages / emails that you get before your appointments.

After being diagnosed with PTSD from trauma early in life, I had a realisation that I needed some help and couldn't do it alone anymore, I was on the waiting list with NHS for 4 months when they asked me if I would like to try Dr Julian as the wait time was shorter. I can honestly say it has been the best decision of my life, Sherry was so patient, friendly and professional I couldn't of asked for a better person. She was totally honest when we chatted about her not having the experience for my trauma but we had the go ahead for us to go through it together, I will forever be truly thankful to her for helping me get control of my life back ?.

The therapist I had was so good and extremely supportive in my sessions. I learned so much about what was happening and how to gain control back. I would highly recommend the service for anyone that needs that extra help and support.
