I have been a GP service user for many many years. All those years I was not very satisfied with the service, but I realised that all GPs are busy and I adapted. But now GP has turned into an inaccessible island of doctors. If you need an appointment, you get it by phone and not even the doctor who works in this GP, but external (because probably all their doctors are very busy with their patients :). If you need a face-to-face appointment, they have a receptionist guard (telephone of course) who protects doctors from face-to-face appointments so much that she doesn't even care that their service user is in a pain and was told to take a face-to-face appointment by an external doctor. I finally decided to leave this island where doctors are unavailable because they are so so so....
