Had to take my mother to this surgery, she has breathing difficulties due to blood clots on the lung and has to wear oxygen tubes in her nose, we turned up for the appointment and it was windy, freezing cold and raining, we were told by reception that we could not come in and my elderly mother had to endure the wind, rain and cold outside until a doctor could see her, bear in mind that it was quite obvious that my mother's breathing difficulties were due to the condition of her lungs and not COVID, she has difficulty wearing and breathing through a mask, also down to the condition on her lungs, I think the receptionist were just doing what they were told but also think the way they treated my elderly mother was disgusting as if she gets a cold or chest infection she could end up dead, they need some serious training on how to treat there patients as if they refuse entry to elderly people they need to provide some sort of shelter for then at least, if you are elderly I seriously suggest going to an alternative surgery as this one doesn't give 2 hoots about their elderly and seriously ill patients.
