Hey Dorrington Family

Nan was cared for very well, they have the same carers which is so important for the residents as they get to know them inside out. Nan really trusted and loved all her carers. It was very clean, loving and friendly. They also do alot of activities and interact with them well.

Thank you so much for caring for my beautiful Nan. She will be truly missed 💔😭

I will continue to visit the lovely residents regularly.

Terrible and inhuman, if I was providing this level of care at home I would be arrested!

Covering up falls to save their own skin (by deceiving families) due to gross negligence.
Allowing residents to howl in pain as they haven't kept up with their pain management plans.

Making shocking statements such as "we are a care home not a nursing home" when questioned about why vital pain relief hasn't been delivered. They have been reported to safeguarding multiple times.

Thinking it's acceptable to allow resident who are able to use the toilet soil them selves because "it's easier than hoisting them to the toilet".

They have taken all dignity away from there residents!

My father has been at Dorrington for some time now. And the care and understanding of the staff through the stages of his Alzheimer’s has been second to none.. the staff are always kind and approachable. Recently my father has been in and out of hospital. The staff have gone over and above to support me and my father in this process. I just want to say a huge thank you .i would say it’s more than care from staff to management there is love shown and Huge empathy on what is a difficult journey watching a loved one go through .. bravo and And the food is great...

My mother my mother has dementia and is now living there it is very clean the care staff are lovely very friendly and good to my mother . It has a nice atmosphere. I would recommend

Poorly run. Underage Meds, no dementia training given to staff when required. 1 star is being generous. How they have not been shut down is amazing. All in all a terrible place to be

My mother was sent here for respite and was administered "the chemical cosh" to treat her dementia. Dreadful facility.
