No support available for women only here, which is pretty shocking for a mental health support service. When I raised this as a suggestion I was ignored as if the suggestion wasn't even valid, and they tried to palm me off elsewhere ,but they didn't even have any suggestions as to where they were going to try and palm me off to. Seems like yet another charity that is pretending to help people just to get funding for the staff and management to get paid to not even listen to service users and invalidate their needs and concerns. Women are people too, and they deserve a safe space to heal away from men if they so choose, and it's well known that a huge amount of mental health conditions women suffer with, arise from male violence and coercive control and bullying from the patriarchy in general. I can't believe how ignorant this organisation is towards women being allowed a safe space away from men. Shame on them for being so backwards and dismissive.

Mind offer a great number of services and activities which are all amazing. However most of the time there is no one answering the telephone, which makes arranging things to do at the centre hard and frustrating. If they leave you a message it's impossible to call back as a result. Other than that the service they offer is brilliant

Poorly run, not very professional, disorganised and co- habitants office allow their cigarette smoke to percolate throughout the building. Not very Covid19 aware either and the toilet door will not lock.

Wow. What a great place. Get involved or just sit and people watch. A lovely place mainly volunteer run. What it lacks in refinements it makes up for in the warmth of the workers.
