They are an incredibly busy surgery but they are kind and excellent professionals when you get to see them.

It takes 15 minutes to answer the phone.
Can't get an appointment on line, it's like trying to get tickets to Glastonbury!
So I called, just to be told it woukd be better to go in to the surgery. So I go to the surgery, where a tall, young dark haired receptionist, tells me if I want to make an appointment to see a certain dictor, I have to write a letter "Write a letter!" what an absolute insult, I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I just walked away. I am going to make a formal complaint!

I am not worth a repeat prescription for my heart to save my life!
I have been a patient with this surgery for many years. One of the Doctors misdiagnosed me and I ended up having a severe heart attack, diabetes and high cholesterol! Her excuse was a woman od 44 is too young and I was dismissed. I now take Verapamil to helpwth my heart disease and angina.
I ordered a repeat prescription online and Badams Chemist left me a packet short they explained they had given me the correct amount of 4 packets but they couldn't have done as I only got 3. They told me to order more from my GP. Well as usual the you have to go through their receptionist who thinks she has the god given right to treat patients like a dog! I was told to ring back in the morning but as the Practice states it would take days to issue a prescription and the Chemist takes days to issue the Prescription , with the weekend coming up I won't get it in time.
No doubt I will be issued with a warning letter foror dismissed off their Patient list for standing up for myself

This surgery is a joke and they are let down by reception staff. Takes forever to get through on the phone and when you do get through you are met with a rude lady who has no understanding of dealing with people with mental health issues and when you try to challenge a mistake made on there behalf they turn it around on you making out your being argumentative when all your trying to do is get to the bottom of your query. So rude and unprofessional. They need so mental health training and telephone skills.

Lovely doctors if you can actually manage to get anyone to answer the phone to allow you to make an appointment. Inside surgery just as bad…..anyone working reception? especially when the practice is full of patients mostly standing around reception area needing to check in for their appointment…... I stood there for 5 minutes before leaving. Desperate for a decent surgery

Lazy doctors and useless staff
I tried to make an appointment but was told by reception we're not releasing any appointments until the next day for appointments in 2 weeks time ( not releasing any? What do they do keep them captive ? And for 2 weeks time? Um im not psyichic)
Looked at gp hours on the website and they close for 4 hours everyday presumably to sit in the pub then i tried to ring only to fing that theyre closed for socalled training whatcrapi cantbelieve thatthey close a medical surgery when the public who pay theier wages and to keep the place open cant even ring up jt utterly disgusting they should have done their training at med school (if they ever attended)

Can't get through on the phone! Happened to be in there last week when a mature woman went in with chest pains and was told, the GP'S were busy in a meeting. She was told to wait for a call! I had enough so I have swapped to another medical centre!

Called for a phone appointment for our 7 month old daughter, and was told we would get a call, but wasn't given a time. The phone eventually rang later in the morning, but for about 3 seconds before hanging up. They haven't answered since. Busy or not, that's a disgusting way to go about things — especially with a 7 month old in need.

We're not even worth 3 seconds. That says it all about Dockham.
