The care provided by Destiny for my elderly mother has been excellent. The carers are very kind and cheerful and provide mum with exactly the level of care and support she needs. We have also found the company very easy to communicate with - they have been helpful and professional at all times.

If you can go with a different care provider for yourself or a family member I would highly recommend you do this, the care my father received was poor!
Shaving him whilst on the toilet, missed medication. Communication between the carers and the office staff were never happening. Care line and my dad's phone were not left with him. Sadly my father passed away suddenly.. none of the emergency producers were followed, it actually took them 20 minutes to even ring for an ambulance instead the carer called 3 different people before doing this, I will never know if he would of or could of called me as they failed to meet his needs by simply leaving his phone with him or putting his Careline on. After my dad's passing they were very unprofessional and rude. No condolences passed on until a safe guarding review was made and they found they had neglected him ?

Really disappointed with this care provider and I would strongly recommend you are undertake thorough due diligence before appointing them. The management team started off well and made lots of positive noises about caring for my mum at home (she has alzheimers and dementia). Sadly over the last few months the quality of care has diminished with food being burnt or under cooked, paid for chores not being delivered, carers lacking the appropriate training to operate kitchen facilities and the inability to communicate with someone with these medical conditions. Thankfully I have switched to another provider with stronger capabilities.

I do not recommend using this care provider. The management is incredibly poor and disorganised. They ignore concerns, change times without informing clients and do not provide a rota in advance. The carers try their best but the management doesn’t appear supportive at all to either staff or clients. There’s also a lack of practical training for carers. The management will initially charm you and say all the right things but then cracks start to appear when you raise legitimate concerns. I would really suggest looking into another agency with better practices for you or your relative.

All the care ben received was friendly and professional. There was never any issues with the carers. The only concern I would raise would be that the communication from the office was not always good. A change in carer or time was never communicated. It made for some challenges in the morning routine. I would suggest that a message is sent first thing in the morning for adjustments to be made. Thanks

Very nice people very friendly and helpful, the staff are from Zimbabwe and don't always understand British culture and ways, which can be difficult, the management needs to communicate with customers more which they are trying to do, I will update this as time goes on,
