We have been with this practice since pre covid and never had a face to face appointment with a Doctor.

My husband who has Chronic Lymphacitic Luekemia was ill with cough temperature and sore throat and as a very low immune system he was given an appointment to see aNurse Practioner who asked him how he was coping with his Hodgkinson which he does not have ?
He was given amoxicillin this did not help and he made another appointment with the practice and got another nurse practioner he explained he did not feel any better and advised we were going away he just said have you got good medical insurance and gave him nothing even after telling him he was short of breath and still signs of sore throat ?

We went to a doctor in Teneriffe who diagnosed him straight away gave him the correct antibiotics and medication to help him breath. Amoxicillin is a general antibiotic and not good enough for someone with a low immunity.

Its a sad state of affairs when you have to go abroad to see a doctor face to face

I would avoid this surgery at all cost especially DR rana and the pharmacists the lack of understanding, dr rana displays alongside her very gaslighting and condescending behaviour there is no accountability for the failings of the medical staff and their negligence in practice for adults and disabled children at the practice . I’ve only been at this surgery 7 months and by far the biggest mistake I’ve made . Hopefully after a complaint to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman will give the surgery the kick it needs to be offering quality care to all patients .

Only positive is the amazing practice management Sharon and Lindsey and Sophie , shame the same can’t be said about the diabolical medical staff .

I have received the most amazing service from Catherine, Barry and all the reception staff, they have all been so very kind, they have explained everything with so much detail, nothing has been too much trouble, they have reassured me and stopped me worrying. I have been seen and had telephone calls with no problems at all, I cannot thank everyone enough and recommend this surgery to everyone. Thank you all for your kindness, very much appreciated when you are worried about your health. Thank you

I rang the GP surgery early this morning 8:10 l was 9th in the queue, spoke to the receptionist. Explained my predicament, wanting an appointment or at least advice on what medication l could take alongside my Asthma medication. Received phone call from receptionist 13:20 advised to go to Urgent Care TGH. If they had looked at my records would have seen that l had been to Urgent Care less than 2 weeks ago at MRI. Still don't know what medication to take. Shoddy

I have also been with this practice for over 40 years, however since COVID, it's almost impossible to get an appointment within 2 weeks, I was in reception trying to make an appointment, as I had lost my voice, I was informed that I had to ring up to make an appointment, I was gobsmacked at this, so I rang the same receptionist whom was stood in front of me and had the same conversation with her to make an appointment , bearing in mind I had lost my voice, 10 minutes later I was given a telephone consultation with a hp, who couldn't hear what I was saying, at the end of the call I was told it was a virus and would probably last a few weeks, which actually turned into 2 months !!!!
Over the past few weeks I have had a medication review, whereby I was informed that a tablet (simvastatin)I have been taking for many years should not have been prescribed alongside Amlodipine, which I have been taking for 10 years, as they cause side effects of muscle cramps, I have been in so much pain for years with my hips, then on top of this, they previously doubled my dose to 40mgs, when I googled all of this it stated, Simvastatin should never be exceeded higher than 20 mg !!! I am horrified with the outcome of this, you think your GP knows better, I will be making a formal complaint over this, my health has been in their hands for so long !!!

Had an appointment with Dr Rana and I've already told family members registered at the practice to ask for her if they can. Such a positive experience, which isn't always the case as a low support autistic adult. She took time to listen fully and put me at ease, went through treatments and explained everything, so that I understood.

My husband (who used to be a nurse) contacted the practice via the online consultation form, the first time he's communicated with a GP for almost 15 years.
Sadly the practice appear unwilling or unable to act on relevant information. My husband stated his issue wasn't skeletal or muscular, he was sent a message asking him to book an appointment with a muscular, skeletal practitioner. He explained he rarely takes pain killers but was struggling to manage his pain with over the counter medication. He was sent another message saying he'd been referred to the pharmacy so they could advise him on over the counter pain relief. What is the point of having a GP when they do nothing to help, just cause greater frustration?

The service at this practice is terrible. The online consult form, which is now the main means of explaining your symptoms and making an appointment is always "temporarily disabled" or rather almost permanently disabled from some time after 9am each morning! If you ring up to try and make an appointment you're told to fill in the online form. How can you do that if the service is always disabled?! The service is also very impersonal with receptionists or admin staff ringing you up to pass on messages from GPs and not explaining anything to you. I'm not sure why I'm paying taxes and National Insurance contributions into the NHS because I never get any treatment! I very rarely consult the doctors about anything as I usually get fobbed off and instead I have to struggle with chronic illnesses on my own which I often find extremely difficult to do!
