The most painful experience I have ever had at a dentist. I went back to my private dentist immediately after the filling I had fell out a few days later. The appointment was rushed, chaotic and I had to ask for anaesthetic. He wanted to drill and fill two teeth that my private dentist said did not need any fillings. Make an appointment at your peril. I can’t even call them to cancel the second appointment I had.

Place was dirty reception desk was crowded with no privacy at all. When I was called through I was shocked at how dirty the place was I’ve seen cleaner rubbish tips than this place. Once I got into the dentists chair I explained that I was nervous of dentists, but she just sniggered and then asked if she could explain what she was doing just so I was aware of what was gonna happen she said I’m just going to have a look at your teeth the next thing I know there was a sharp stab in my gums, which made me flinch and shout out in pain. I was told to sit still. At this point I told her I’m leaving to which she replied whatever. Please don’t go to this place I think it personally needs closing down

I've re registered as a patient and have been one when it was called Archway Dentist. Was told they only took emergencies when it changed it's name. But I just had a check up and had to fill out a form. Booked a check up and happy with service.

I have just completed my third visit in 6 months (I have neglected my teeth for about 5 years) and found the staff to be both helpful and polite and W.A. is by far the best dentist I have seen over the last 70 years.

I travel 140 miles round trip for my dental treatment with Hannah because she's quite simply the most reassuring dentist I have experienced in my 59 years of life and her work is excellent.

Quite some time ago when I was a teenager living in Norfolk I had a traumatic experience at another dental practice where they painfully botched the removal of two wisdom teeth which resulted in putting me off seeing any dentist for many years.

Eventually the inevitable occurred & my teeth started to decay to the point where I didn't want to smile in public. This began to get me down, so, despite being terrified at the prospect of lying in the dentists chair again after many years of associating it with pain from my bad experience, I plucked up enough courage to force myself to walk into a dental surgery again and fortunately I was lucky enough to meet Hannah.

Hannah's a great listener & after explaining my situation she immediately put me at ease by thoroughly talking through what she could do for me to bring back my smile whilst emphasising the priority of making the experience as comfortable as possible.

It was quite an extensive course of treatment as I hadn’t been to the dentist for so long but apart from being nervous on the first treatment day it all went very well and without pain.
It felt great feeling the fear of dentists evaporate away to be replaced with confidence.

That was over 10 years ago when the slightest thought of visiting a dentist would turn me into a nervous wreck. But now, I happily attend my appointments without any fear always knowing everything is going to be alright - it always is.

Thanks Hannah & the whole practice not only for their professionalism & level of care, but also for their dedication to enhancing peoples lives through good dental health.

Hannah restored my faith & confidence in going back to the dentist and the best bit of all ... she brought back my smile 🙂

Like many others, I've been shocked at the lack of NHS dentists in existence. I've done a fair amount of research to confirm that this is the case, sadly. I think it maybe unfair to rate this particular practice badly, given that NHS funded dentist seem to be a rare breed!
I visited this practice 8 weeks ago, knowing the cost would be huge as I had no alternative. I explained (actually, I cried in the chair!) that I was a very nervous patient. My dentist was very reassuring, stopped when he could see I was becoming tense to give me a moment. He also had let the hygienist know my fears as she too, was very calming and reassuring when I received treatment from her. I felt very looked after.

Real shame that this dentist surgery is no longer NHS. However, the dentist and staff are friendly and helpful. My children (and I) visit Hannah, and they have grown up with her taking good care of their teeth and are not afraid of her in any way. Would recommend her completely. I just wish it was still NHS prices, but that's not the fault of the staff there!
