I came here today to get a blood test, and my first impression of this place wasn't an overly good one.

I walked in, and the person working on the reception didn't look up or say anything at all when I approached.

They were more interested in their work.

That in itself isn't a problem, if they were in the middle of doing something, a simple "I'll be with you shortly" would have sufficed.

That would have been much better than being ignored.

After about 30 seconds of standing there like a lemon, they finally acknowledged me and confirmed my arrival.

Thankfully, the phlebotomist who did the blood test was very friendly and very efficient.

Completely rubbish experience with this surgery after getting registered with them I just book my first appointment after a long wait in the queue when I finally got my appointment today when I went to the surgery the receptionist said I am not registered there but it still shows in their system that I have been booked there for appointment but she ask me to go to their other surgery on the same time it’s a terrible via public transport how anyone can go somewhere else on same time they didn’t have common sense. They didn’t inform the patient about their appointment I have been treated badly by the staff receptionist and other staff marking jokes on you and laughing

Rude receptionist. Clean waiting room and lovely nurse.
Instructions were to call designated number when arriving at at the surgery and not to leave the car. Having arrived on time I did just that with no reply. Then I text, followed by walking to the door to ring the bell and finally went back to my car and called again.
Having seen someone leave the surgery I walked in and went to the desk. The blond, 5.3 female receptionist took my name and said the nurse may not see me as I was 15 minutes late. I responded with the fact of calling texting and so forth. Her defensive response was that she was busy and had to man everything. To which I replied... Why didn't you call me back or text or even respond to the buzzer on the door.
She then saw if the nurse would see me, to her credit.
The nurse was lovely the waiting area was well arranged.

A fantastic team of nurses and Drs, the nurse today thoroughly checked our daughter and gave great advice. The waiting area is always clean. The only downside is the phone system, always having to wait 40mins+ to connect to reception, and you don't hear if you are moving up in the telephone queue.

Booked a whole day off work to see a nurse about getting holiday jabs, only to get told that I don’t need any- why I couldn’t be told this before booking to see a nurse, not only preventing me losing a days money for some advice that I already knew or taking up there ‘valuable’ time.

Been trying to get an appointment to see Lyft phycologist for the last 4/5 months. Usual excuse, we have nothing on our systems please try again. You try ringing and get no answer.

This is the second surgery I have moved to and this is not different to the rest of them. Shambles

God awful surgery with the fact it has many linked surgies and you can't get a single appointment the phone service is shocking if you get close to position 1 they cut out 3 attempts today and cuts out each time. I've tired phoning up in regards to my infected psoriasis and since having bad psoriasis not a single appointment for it to get checked so they can prescribe the stuff that will help instead it seems like a winged and that will do attitude. This has been going on for 6+ months.

This surgery I found to be very well organised, by a very helpful and supportive small friendly team. Any question or concern answered with professionalism and empathetic where needed when I was at a low point recently. Keep up the fantastic work, all of you are an admiration to the NHS and local community here in Swindon.

If I could give zero stars I would. I haven't been able to get in to see a doctor for over 4 years. The receptionists constantly ignore the phone and when you manage to get through it's very difficult to get an appointment. I have been fobbed off with stupid advice from the doctors and don't think I have ever seen the same one twice for the same issue
