Nurses are very good. The rest I am sad to say my son died he couldn't get doctors appointment face to face. I complained and had a very difficult time getting through receptionists when I finally got the right person she promised time s when she would get back to me which went over and I had to chase them up. The final report I got a lot of in hind site they should have seen him. And to add insult to injury they got the date of his death wrong.

IF YOU’RE DISABLED, DONT GO TO THIS GP. don’t expect any treatment for long term ill health or disability. save yourself the disappointment
.
they constantly fob me off, they lie in my notes, they conceal information from me, they refuse to treat me, they refuse to try and diagnose me, they refuse to refer me, they don’t even try to do tests on me even when specified they need to be done by multiple other doctors and departments. It’s despicable, and that doesn’t even cover everything.

I’ve been in chronic pain for nearly 3 years, referrals were sent to rheumatology 2 years ago when I asked, saying what I suspected was wrong with me. After getting my medical records I found that The referral came back that they no longer take patients for this condition, but gave croft hall EVERYTHING they would need to know to test me and diagnose me themselves. they kept that to themselves and just left me in pain. They did nothing. Didn’t even tell me so I could go elsewhere or find other options. And this kind of thing keeps happening.

I ended up going private after being left in chronic pain for 2 years, got my diagnosis and suggestion of treatment the same day, sent to my GP. they refused that they even received it, and decided on their own course of action. Which I did, because I’ll do it if it makes me feel better, it didn’t. Every time I brought up this condition I’d now been diagnosed with, they’d go quiet or ignore it. Another year later and they finally decide to refer me for something after ignoring my pleas and cries for help.

I have an open complaint against them, having to add to it now after some recent events, that nothing is being done about. I’m disabled, in chronic pain, with no treatment from my own GP, they left me and pretended I didn’t exist for 2 years. Do not recommend. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Waited to get a call back from a GP, was told I would get one in a week ! Meanwhile both arms and backs of hands bleeding from eczema driving me crazy. buying loads of plasters and wound dressings as GP not available and going to A&E not a realistic alternative. Sitting in A&E for 5 to 9 hours in Torbay or 5 hours in Newton Abbott no good either. terrible country these days Thank God not going to live much longer .

Just so we're clear Dr WE DO NOT 'AGREE TO DIFFER' ,this negatively impacts my partner's health.(If you honestly believe that progesterone is not required for women outside of the uterus you need to update yourself on the scientific literature).
It isn't about agreeing or disagreeing, IT SHOULD BE ABOUT WHAT IS THE SAFEST AND BEST CARE FOR YOUR PATIENT. But if that was the case you would be happy to sit down and explain your concerns because if you feel so strongly about this I for one it would be interested to see your rationale , it isn't about right or wrong it's about my partners health and wellbeing.
Despite the distress you are causing my partner I speak to you with decency and respect.
You raise your voice and talk over me with an absolute disregard for the clinical and symptomatic benefits that my partner has noticed over the past 12 months.
SO, NO WE DO NOT AGREE TO DIFFER!

Awful surgery to be with,i,m at risk of a stroke /heart attack and the medication they put me on is making it more likely to happen ,i told them i had had a heart arrythmia due to lack of sleep caused by the medication, the GP refused to do anything or help apart from telling me to continue with medication that is clearly dangerous for me,that GP has been as useless every time i have seen her,i will be moving surgeries tomorrow if i can.Would give zero but i cannot.

HORRENDOUS! Worst doctors surgery I have ever come across. GP prescribed wrong tablets without authorisation from specialist which were very dangerous combination and could have caused serious heart problems! When trying to resolve this issue the Receptionist was very rude and did not care. Terrible communication and awful service! If I could do minus stars, I would!

Have always found the Drs and receptionists very helpful and polite. When needed have always managed a same day call back.. these reviews are unnecessary harsh considering the sheer scale of patients under their care.

This surgery is very poor customer service skills are obsolete the reception staff are rude and talk down to you

I had an eye problem the reception staff said I couldn't see a doctor and said I had hay-fever and told me to go to a chemist.
I instead went to torbay hospital who diagnosed me with an eye condition the nurse at hospital stated Croft half have the worst patient care rate and that I was mis diagnosed. I've never come across a surgery like this I'm now going register somewhere else
