Just don’t understand how an annual check has to be done based on my answers on Anima and photos , where it used to be a face to face. Plus no messages from the surgery to say results are in , it is very much like a self service checkout now . We understand the lack of qualified medical professionals but it’s just a waiting game now to see if any one responds. Thankfully my hospital team are brilliant.

I rang to make an appt for a blood test to be told that as this was requested by my consultant then Crewkerne Health Centre no longer supports this and I was told I need to go to a walk in clinic instead. My kidneys are failing and this causes mobility issues for me. So now I have to get myself to Yeovil Hospital (I don't drive due to health). It won't change anything but I'm very disappointed with this latest change.

My perception is that the service was better before Symphony, and also gets worse with each new introduction of IT systems, the latest being Anima. I was in a telephone queue for 3 hours to arrange a blood test because the Anima system was no longer accepting requests for that day. It is no longer possible to go into the health centre to arrange an appointment; all appointments have to go through Anima. There needs to be a change to the system so that non-urgent appointments, such as blood tests, are handled separately to more urgent appointments.
I have no complaints with the service provided with the health care professionals, but they are being let down by the front desk service when trying to get an appointment.

You hear a lot of negative comments about Crewkerne Health Centre, but my recent experiences have been very positive. Using the Anima online system is quick and efficient; within less than an hour, I received a message informing me of my appointment.

When I arrived at Middle Path, the receptionist was lovely. Although the GP was running a bit late (about 20 minutes), it was completely understandable. The doctor was very nice and professional, and my consultation took about 15 minutes. I was able to quickly book a blood test for the following week with the receptionist before I left.

From reading some of the below comments and social media posts, I think we all need to take a moment to reflect. Despite all the changes and challenges, our surgery is doing its best to provide healthcare to our community with a very limited budget and resources (the same situation across all of England).

The only negative thing I would mention is that the building looks quite dated and isn't very functional. With all the new houses being built in Crewkerne, they need to expand urgently.

But other than that, thank you, Crewkerne Health Centre, for being a pillar in our community and for all the hard work you are doing.

Told this afternoon (after 45 minutes on the phone) that for hospital requested blood tests, I have to attend South Petherton. Are you going to pay my taxi fare ? Apparently this has been the case for 2 months now. I was not informed of this when I tried to book same blood test (only 1 month ago) and was told they couldn't book that far ahead.
You have '12' listed GP's, so how about more nurses.
I really do feel your website needs to reflect this rule. Good luck to those in their 70's and 80's with no transport or family to assist them. Absolutely crazy.
Good to see your advertising for more admin staff today.
Hopefully Chase Medical found yourselves another GP. Not a bad rate of pay.

They don't know how to deal with mental health, 3 years ago my mother has some form of depression and it's still not been cured despite the endless boxes of fluexotine that they keep prescribing. It's a joke. Fluexotine does not treat depression... It makes you go crazy....

Dreadful service with robots behind counter. You cannot anymore make appointments at counter and it takes 4 hours to ring through. Official complaint about Symphony on its way. The whole new set up for phone appointments has been designed to put people off trying to get an appointment - Useless

What is the point of enima only open till 2 pm! Not being able to request a appointment from receptionist, I understand a dr reviews requests, but surely a simple form to fill out should be available
