Was told by 111 to go to the urgent treatment centre asap as I was urinating blood and had kidney pain. Was called by a nurse to have blood pressure and temp taken wich were fine. So I was then told that the wait was going to be too long and they would close before they would see me so to go home. Came the following day but earlier to be told the same thing. So now it’s been 3 days with no treatment as pharmacy's won’t prescribe me anything due to my back pain. And now all is getting worse…. So a pretty awfull experience

Was sent there as "you need to see a doctor asap today" from Horsham minor injuries. There was a large queue, was told by the clinical services nurse that they were short staffed. Had to wait 3 hours before seeing anyone.
To be fair Dr.Ali was absolutely excellent and took time to properly examine me and advise I should go to A&E but the rest of the service was abysmal.

I visited Crawley UTC on Saturday. The waiting room was full and I was told that there was a 2 hour wait to be seen. I was impressed with the speed with which the patients were called in. I, myself, was triaged, X-rayed, medicated and had my leg plastered all within a 2 hour time frame. Nurse Natalie was incredible- efficient, kind and knowledgeable. Charlotte was also wonderful.

Joke of a place, no doctors on site and only nurses after a certain time, waiting ages and never got seen, receptionist I think called Ella, seen more brains in a zombie, was more interested in playing with her mobile phone. Not impressed by the whole thing. Crawley needs a proper hospital not a walk in that they will 9/10 tell you to go to EAST SURREY anyway, pathetic.

Lovely receptionist and nurses were so nice and considerate. They can do nothing about wait times, although they are long. But staff were perfect.

My wife took our one year old in because she was crawling in an odd way. First, you have to get past the incredibly rude and, frankly, not particularly clever receptionists. One couldn’t figure out how a patient knew her first name and, when discussing this mystery with the others, neither could they. They all wear name tags. Another was told by a man that he just needed stoma bags. She looked at him with no idea what he was talking about. “Colostomy bags,” he explained. Still no idea. She told him he’d have to see a doctor and it would be a three hour wait. How many others were sat there waiting for something that could just have been grabbed from a store cupboard in seconds? The receptionist my wife saw aggressively asked why she was there (they seem to think every person who is there shouldn’t be there), and when my wife explained that our fourteen month old was crawling oddly and that a GP had told her to go there, the receptionist asked, “does her arm hurt?” My wife patiently explained that she was here precisely to find out what was wrong.

Now the doctor, who was also rude and disbelieving, who my wife had to force to watch a video of our baby crawling. Who asked why she was there, who said our baby looked fine, who asked why we hadn’t gone to East Surrey where there are paediatricians (again, we’d been told to go here), and who gave every impression of thinking my wife was an idiot. She referred us for an X-Ray.

A little interlude just to say that, for obvious reasons, the children’s waiting area is behind locked doors. Within the waiting area is a sign that says that water is available from the water fountain. Which is in the main reception. So a parent on their own with an injured child would have to go back through the locked doors to get water, presumably with their child, and then ask the busy, rude, ignorant receptionists to let her back in.

The X-ray revealed that our daughter had a minor fracture in her wrist. The doctor, who had asked why my wife was even there, told her she should have brought the baby in sooner. We were referred to social services and safeguarding (which we understand is protocol and absolutely necessary to identify abuse, but they wouldn’t even have identified the fracture if my wife hadn’t pushed and advocated for our daughter’s odd crawl to be taken seriously).

We were referred to the paediatric ward at East Surrey where everyone was great and where after our first consultation someone came around with a survey to find out how our visit was going. Hospital visits are not fun, but some hospitals try and make the experience as pleasant as possible, despite being overworked and stressed. Crawley Urgent Care is full of rude, ignorant people intent on making their patients’ lives a misery. You may have no choice but to go there but if you can choose, don’t.

Took my daughter to the children's "so called" Urgent Care Unit. As advised by her own doctor, who said they couldn't assist. This was for investigation as to why she couldn't breath correctly. Arrived at approximately 4.10 pm on a Friday afternoon.
Initial communication from the "walk in" reception person was unfriendly and not informative. Approximately 4.30 pm (wow that was quick I thought) we were seen by the triage nurse and obviously placed into a importance que! Near on 3.5 hours later. Yes 3 and half hours! We were seen by a very nice Doctor/Nurse who dealt with the issues for my daughter.
But 4 hours for the national health, so called service!
Any chance I can get a refund of my national insurance contributions ? Oh just to add: £2.00 for a bottle of coke, £1.20 for two packs of ready salted crisps. £4.40 for such a awful experience. Would not recommend!

Took my husband today(Sunday) He was seen quite quickly The nurse assessed him put him in a side ward the doctor came quickly. Arranged nebuliser and chest X-ray Left hospital within 2 hours with diagnosis of pneumonia, antibiotics and inhaler. Fantastic caring staff that totally took care of him.
