Went to see Dr Hart 11th FEb had an MOT sent me for xray, and got me fast tracked at BFD Royal on the 21st did some more tests and was cleared. Happy indeed with DR Hart Cant praise her enough, and her bedside manner was fabulous.

They never answer phone at 8am. If we ring after 8am to get an appointment they’ll say you should call 8 o clock but no one answer who else we should call they are always pretend to busy

Been with this surgery for years

Had to interact with them through work which was always easy and as a patient I feel as though I always receive an excellent service. Same day callbacks from doctors, appointments that suit my schedule and doctors always happy to help.

The doctor apparently rang me twice in the minute that I was out if the room, so had to go back through the near half an hour process to get put back on the list for a call. Perhaps doctors might consider leaving it a few minutes before they try again, rather than doing two attempts one immediately after the other?

I am sick and tired of these lazy 'receptionists' i have tried so many times to get my meds I AM ON 175MG LAMOTROGINE. NOTE 150MG, HOW STUPID CAN ONE PERSON BE?

Reception not so knowledgeable on this occasion and surgery not working at full capacity Think they forgot that some of us have been working throughout Covid-19 and longer hours than the doctors.
Hubby lost nearly 3 stones in weight within few weeks, Dr did nothing, hubby lost feeling on one side down to his leg again Dr did nothing.
They won't even do video appointments and are second guessing diagnoses.
1: daughter given wrong antibiotic which we paid yet doctor never apologised or compensated. Sent a message to the surgery and won't respond to complaint.
2: Doctor would not book appointment to see husband who was very unwell until hubby forced Dr to see him, even then he wouldn't do the referral. Went private, paid Dr to complete referral form only to find he didn't complete the forms properly and we had to wait a week to get them back!!
All this started in April, hubby had surgery in Aug buy this time his health really deteriorated!!
Hubby could not walk unaided, he should have been referred to hospital in May 2021 for MRI, CT and XRAY but doctor refused!!
Had to go Private, found out his case severe, ended up having major surgery and also diagnosed with another condition.
Our consultants confirmed his health deteriorated over the months, he would not have been this back if the Dr referred him in May, his condition would have been captured sooner.
Unprofessional doctor doesn't know what he's doing!!

I chose Cowgill when I moved into the area and am very happy I did, the care has been brilliant. I like the open access every morning as this way I know I can always see a doctor on the day I need which is not always possible in other surgeries. Just yesterday when I needed advice about my daughter it was handled fantastically by the receptionist and then Dr Haiders compassion was greatly appreciated being a first time mum. People often have bad things to say about our healthcare system but I would say majority of GPs surgeries are stretched so have problems but I received great care and all of that for free so wanted to share a positive.
