Only just joined place is useless, being forced to do econsult which is difficult and makes you answer questions that arent even relevant, receptionists not interested cant wait to get you off the phone, or when you go in person pawn you off with that enconsult. The doctors dont seem to be any better tell you its not urgent keep you waiting 2 months tell you then they will phone you back... what kind of patient welfare is that. Especially when someone is sitting telling you there unwell, receptionist says its not urgent how would they know? Since when did they become a GP?
SHOCKING
but to keep someone who is ill waiting 2 months and even at the end of that you still dont know when you have an appointment. Doc cant even be bothered to speak to you on the phone to offer some assistance whilst youve got to wait a lifetime for an appointment!

Never heard of such nonsense, or any other surgery that keeps you waiting that long and not even let you speak with a GP.

Cove Bay Health Centre have processes in place specifically designed to restrict access to the GPs and to inappropriately screen patients. Nurse practitioners are claiming that they can conduct certain medical assessments when they don’t have the legal or medical authority to do so. We have spoken to the Office of the Public Guardian In Scotland and confirmed the role of a GP in assessing adult capacity and yet the Cove Bay Medical Centre continue to deny access to a GP for this process. The handling of patient welfare is nothing short of appalling. I would recommend that anyone in the Cove Bay area avoids using this facility.

I have been with this surgery for 25 plus years . In the last couple of years it has been a nightmare getting an appointment. I have recently been trying to get an appointment for the last 18 months and all I ever get told is to go and see a pharmacist . I am so fed up !!
