It's true, it is difficult to get an appointment; sign of the times maybe. However, with a bit of patience I did get through to them and I was promised someone would call me back; they did and the Doctor was very polite and considerate. I had an ear ache for seven days, the Doctor diagnosed the issue over the phone, sent a prescription to my local Chemist, and with in 2 day I was completely fine; many thanks.

Getting prescriptions is a nightmare. Trying to make a standard request for medication means coming in during the week as they don't allow anyone in on Saturdays (i work). They often make mistakes with my dosage meaning more stress trying to get the balance. Need another dose but need to leave my request in a "secure box" with an open lid - pathetic. These people are inaccessible and seem to do their utmost to avoid contact with patients. Tried to telephone once in work time and couldn't get through even after an hour. Awful.

Partner cannot get appointments for love of money.

They cancel appointments and then ask you to call them so you have to sit on hold for over an hour no matter what time of day.

Despite needing follow ups they don't book you a follow up but expect you to call back again at 8am to arrange an appointment.

Seriously neglectful, someone is going to die soon due to their incompetence.

Worst doctors I've ever been to. All of my babies immunisations have been late because of staff at this surgery despite always contacting them 1 month in advance! I've never been able to book appointments in the morning via telephone as I either never get through or get hung up on. When I finally do after 30 odd minutes of constant ringing I'm told all appointments are gone. I would go in a prebook one and now I can't do that because you can't go in to book, can only be on the day? Am now looking for a new doctors surgery. Completely ridiculous, disgraceful!

I would give this surgery absolute zero if I could. I have been with them since 2011 and it is the worst, most chaotic and depressing show of NHS I have ever had the misfortune to experience. I actually sometimes feel i would rather be ill than try and get an appointment here..Today it was 45 minutes waiting from 8am, and still i didn't get an appointment..Each the the call actually got through it hung up automatically. It made me more stressed than I was...so i gave you...Im sure the reception staff do their best, and I am not having a go at them personally, but there is a big problem with Plaza surgery...and its not going away...maybe its as simple as funding, there just isn't the money...But if anyone out there is looking for a doctor, move on i say...this place is a disaster. Sorry.

Arrived for appointment at 0915. Still waiting at 1045. The doctor hasn't turned up and no one knows where he/she is. All this after attempting to make an appointment at Essenden Road Surgery only to be told it has closed. Absolutely no notice or warning and 4 of us were patients there. No letter received informing us and no signs up when we recently visited. Absolutely disgusting. Would allocate 0 stars if possible. I feel sorry for the admin and office staff there that try their best.

Absolute JOKE of a doctors surgery. If
I could rate it a zero I would. The amount of stress it causes is beyond belief. They say phone at 8am, we'll you could call 50-150 times from 8am till about 8:45 and the line is engaged. When the line finally rings there's no appointments left for the whole entire day! That's even if you get through. If you don't get through it just rings and rings and rings. Something needs to be done about this as there is a whole room of people out the back meant to be answering the phones but not one of them are. What is going on? You could even call the Cornwallis surgery number which is linked with the plaza and you get the same nonsense. ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A SURGERY.

Absolutely terrible service. Whoever is in charge of this mess should be charged with medical negligence. I went to the ER yesterday for psychotic withdrawal symptoms from high doses of Valium after having a seizure and blacking out and attacking someone with a knife (didn't hurt him, but I was not in control of my actions as I was in full blown psychosis) and was I was referred to a clinic. I went straight to the clinic and they told me there was nothing they can do to help me until my GP contacts them.

How am I supposed to get help when I can't even get through to my GP?! I call them dot on 8am and I'm ringing for 30 minutes constantly until someone picks up the phone, only to be told that they are fully booked and I can't get an appointment today. They told me to "try again tomorrow at 8am otherwise the next available appointment is in 1 week". That's exactly what I did today.

Went to the walk in only to be told they can't help me today and to call 111 for an emergency prescription. Called 111 and they said there was nothing they can do to help me.

I've come to Cornwallis surgery multiple times now which have all ended in a complete waste of my time and taxi money. I do not get my medicine for free, I have to pay for it. I'm coming to you guys begging for help, telling you I'm on the edge and all you do is pass me from one person to another who still doesn't help!

I can't believe after telling someone who is supposed to be there to help you, that you are suicidal, psychotic due to the negligent and dangerously low dosage I was prescribed by my GP after telling him I was on insanely high dosages, telling them that I attacked someone with a knife and have been more or less bedridden since the doctor prescribed me this dosage. "I understand but I'm sorry we need your GP to contact us as we cannot prescribe you your medicine, we speak to your GP and advise him on the correct dosage for tapering and he will prescribe it to you". How in the world am I supposed to do that when I can't get ahold of him?!

I feel let down as I'm sure many other patients do based on the reviews I've seen here. If something happens to me before this next available appointment in a weeks time, it's your fault. I've cried out for help on the phone, I've cried out for help in person, I give up.

Just over a month ago before all this hell started I was fully happy and content with life with a good job. I have now been out of work for over a month starting from the day the GP put me on this dangerously low dosage. A simple google search will tell you that what this GP prescribed me is dangerously low considering the amount I was on prior to coming to you for help. Benzodiazepines can kill you if you don't taper right.

Thanks for the great service that my taxes pay for!(sarcasm)
