This practice needs to be closed really, it doesn’t seem to run at its best at all the doctors never there. He goes home at 2.30
Every day, in my opinion he’s too young to be working alone. He hasn’t been qualified very long at all.
Every app I’ve had after they request I go I book online the HCA doesn’t know why I’m there. Can’t get my blood, blood pressure machine not working on previous blood pressure review appointments.
I have to go to path lab for blood every time . The main nurse is now leaving she’s not much good either.
They’ve taken my medication off the app so I can’t reorder my repeats I’ve asked Zoe to get the doctor to review them and put them back on she hasn’t.
The only receptionist that does her best and listens is Lesley! I believe this doctors will close down.
One of my appointments last week a guy was there unhappy in the que at reception over something he called them all useless. I know it is not just me. I advise everyone move try find another doctors. They’re all rubbish to an extent but none of them are as bad as this one.
Update 07/03/2025
I have had a letter after they read this review saying they don’t want to see me at the practice anymore due to a break down I relationship , not sure how this can be when I have never met the doctor.

I find the all receptionists at the practice more than happy to help you. They take the brunt from frustrated patients who can't get to see the doctor. I myself haven't met the new doctor last time I saw a doctor it was Dr Ray back in March 2023, so I can fully understand people getting upset and angry but it's not the receptionists that's at fault, it's the same across the board.
When I do go to the surgery the girls are always more than happy to help me in anyway they can. 🙃🙂

Nobody listens. Always the nurse that calls back. Rarely a Dr. I've been asking for help for 4 weeks with excruciating pain. Fobbed off time and time again. Finally ended up at A&E one evening. Called Dr's today to ask for referral to private clinic, that went OK. Then went onto explain the hospital advised me to come off the painkillers and ask for an alternative only to be told. "I can only deal with 1 questions per call. Ring back tmr!"
What? I've been taking these meds for 2 years whilst waiting on a back operation. On the advice from the hospital I've stopped the meds for the last 4 days so I'm in terrible pain again and that's the care you're offering? Absolutely shocking!

Cannot praise this practice highly enough. After being registered with a surgery where I have received inadequate care for so long, it is a breath of fresh air to be spoken to by the friendly, approachable reception staff when I call.
I have left every visit feeling listened to by the medical team and so pleased I took the leap of faith and moved here
.

I am appauled to be a paitent at this practice, not only do they have "a number"
of rude receptionists! But you can be kept on hold for hrs and "IF" you manage to get through you are automatically fobbed off with the nurse or told to ring 111/A&E.

This new system and way they do things e.g prescriptions/appointments now is also ridiculous! This practice needs to sort itself out and quickly or it will lose all it's paitents or worse closed down. If it wasn't for 2 receptionst there, that i feel are an asset to them i think that place would of forcefully closed years ago. These 2 receptionist should GET OUT while they can and put there time into a surgery that wants to help and care for their paitents.

I am currently suffering with an awful case of tonsillitis, and I had called the doctors yesterday for an appointment urgently. Instead of acting towards the best interests and health of their patients, the receptionist had told me that she is not going to get me an appointment, and instead I need to see a pharmacist.

Today I have been in touch with an online GP and they have prescribed me some antibiotics on URGENT basis, something that could have been avoided should I have been heard yesterday.

The receptionist can consider herself lucky that I am not name dropping her, however I am a patient of Dr. Ray. I am considering changing GP units, as this one is poor.

One of the worse medical practices I've had the misfortune of using.
Can't get to actually see the GP. Passed on to nurses if you are lucky., Or told to go to A&E. Receptionists rude. Doctor doesn't listen to what you are saying.
The whole surgery is grubby.
Time to find a GP that actually does what they are supposed to do and see patients

I had appointment yesterday with Nurse Diana. She tried 5 times to take blood unsuccessfully my arm bruised same day. She wasn’t gentle and wasn’t looking for a vein with her finger it felt she was stabbing in and out. She didn’t asked me if I drank water and didn’t advised me to drink water before blood test neither for next time. I find out from a different nurse that drinking water is a must before blood test. At the end she told me to get blood taken in the hospital instead. I left in so much pain.
Few times during the blood appointment with Diana tools dropped on the floor she picked it up from the floors and used them with same gloves. Made me so worried about the hygiene.
Several times during the appointment Diana asked personal information. Made me feel very uncomfortable. But most importantly I am worried how nurse can be so not professional at taking blood and mistreating patients like myself.
