Called me at 10am today out of the blue, asking me to come in for an appointment at 11am, for a medication review. I work full time in Sheffield, so obviously cannot just drop everything with one hours notice. On top of this, they refuse to prescribe my repeat medication until I've had an appointment. I requested my long standing repeat prescription (as usual) last week, with plenty of notice. I am now likely to run out prior to having an appointment. Dropping this all on a new patient with zero notice is absolutely not acceptable.
In response to the group reply, no phone appointment was offered until I rang back a second time to chase. I believe your calls are recorded, so please feel free to listen back to them at your leisure!

One of the worse GP practices in Doncaster. If you want a sick note - they will churn them out like confetti but if you want to legitimately get back to work and need a ‘fit for work’ note - you might as well pray to the gods as this practice DOES NOT do them at all.
Trying to get an appointment is hell itself and will eat your phone’s battery while you are on hold for at least 20 mins listening to some elevator music on loop. Only then told that ‘triage’ is now full and have to ring back the next day or call 111!
Lastly, they say they are open from 8-various closing times BUT they don’t tell you till you turn up that the place is shut down from 12-2 (see pic). Find another surgery is the only advice I could give.

Compared to most GPs right now, this is probably one of the best going as you can get an appointment same day if you use the online link. My last few requests have been dealt with by very compassionate and knowledgeable members of staff. They're open on Saturdays. Wait times when you're in there are reasonable. It's difficult getting an appointment over the phone, and you generally have to request one via the link between 08:00 - 08:30 otherwise they're full, but it seems to be much better than most GPs I've seen others using in Doncaster!

My experience has been mostly positive from 90% of the staff. The receptionist are brilliant at they're job, and genuinely seem to care. Dr Kamboj has been absolutely brilliant and treats me as an individual rather then a statistic!

Very disappointed in this practice. My husband has had problems for over 2 years, prescribed regular medication to treat(which hasn’t) but very reluctant to carry out further investigations to find causes. Never able to see registered GP, not even sure who this is, instead seeing locums who are unaware of history. Practice contacted at 8am for equipment to self medicate following surgery & explained medication required that day, no further information re request & told would be reviewed the following day by a clinician when attended surgery in person later that day. Had already phoned surgery at 11.48 to enquire re progress regarding request but telephone not answered after a period of 10 minutes constant ringing. Very difficult to talk to anyone. Get the impression that this practice just does not care for its patients. Despair for the elderly who have no-one to look out for them

First of all - the staff and the doctors are ALL great! They're friendly and helpful and reassuring.
But I have to say I just absolutely hate the whole system that has been implemented years ago. Why can't I just ring the practice and make an appointment like we all had done years ago? Or walk in and make an appointment? Now it's mandatory to sign up with your phone, so they can send you a link to something that is only open weekdays on 8am for a couple hours. You have to fill out a form and answer a bunch of questions and then wait for them to ring you back. What an overly complicated waste of time. I wonder if any elderly people who don't own smartphones would ever be able to book appointments anymore...
