Doctors referral. Very rude reception. Staff deflecting any responsibility. Email's going missing. Case being missed off meeting lists. Finally, after years of negotiating this maze we have been told depression. What does someone have to do to get the correct help? I would say even if you have to sell your soul, go private. A TOTAL JOKE

Zero stars if there was an option.
I sat an hour waiting to see a Psychologist that didn't turn up.
Team leader "MARK" doesn't stick to his appointments either and lies. Dr Nagdive is a risk to patients Duty of care - he doesn't know why I was referred - told me he goes on what he is told , he has prescribed what the patient has asked for and if its a lie that's fine as he "eventually finds out". Yet the doctor would not prescribe me for what I was referred for...His Team manager also requested I be prescribed it but refused. Dr Nagdive is clueless and arrogant, every bit of information he has gave me has been wrong, when I mention this, with evidence he refuses any responsibility, its mine or others fault , he is always right and sees nothing wrong with his actions
Dr Amit Nagdive doesn't request your medical records as " they're for physical health and he deals with mental health so they're not necessary!". When questioned on this with - he should have them for medication history, allergies etc he is causing potential harm and is clearly guilty of misconduct, negligence and failure to provide a duty of care , he actually put the phone down!
Absolute joke the whole place and i will be infoming the NHS of all this .AVOID AT ALL COSTS ! IF REFERRED HERE REFUSE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE WORSE OFF...THIS PLACE AND NAMED INDIVIDUALS DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD AND WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE.

Usually I attend North Shields & wasn't sure how I'd feel getting to Whitley Bay & whether it's a good idea?
As it happens, it is very easy to find & although the place is like a warren, the staff were extremely polite & helpful. My session went well & as I left I realised that East coastline Taxis office was just to my left & the Metro a minute to my right!
If you have received a letter asking you to use Whitley Bay & are concerned or worried in anyway... PLEASE don't be!!

I always thought I'd give this a good rating but I can't, when I was referred back here I seen someone called Dr kendall and I would see lauren as a care coordinator they both left and I was given 3 different care coordinators I was finally given a new coordinator last year and she was nice I felt like things could slowly fall into place, well how wrong was I. My anxiety is often crippling and makes getting out hard I have my children to look after and if they had appointments etc I obviously had to cancel mental health appointments but if I didn't take my children to there appointments or me struggling to get to these appointments i would be in trouble I couldn't win I've been discharged for this I've received no wrap plan and no review from a Dr before discharge I'm currently looking into making a formal complaint I wish I didn't have to but the way I have been dumped aside is disgusting if I need help I'm to ring crisis team but through the day they tell me to ring cpn well I ain't got one these people were meant to work with me and help me not just dump me aside like rubbish, because thats how people really need to feel when they have severe depression ptsd and general anxiety disorder!!l

AWFUL! From the minute I got there my experience was awful. I turned up on time for my appointment, if not a little earlier. Told the guy in the office (not sure of his name he didn't introduce himself) I had an referel appointment wasn't sure who with because my letter didn't say. He didn't know himself and had to do a bit of searching on the computer. I was then told the person I was seeing wasn't in the building yet. I sat for a good 20mins anxiety already through the roof because of the appointment now I have to sit and deal with it for a extra 20 mins. The lady who saw me wasn't very sympathetic to my situation at all. She bypassed all information I gave her and focused on 1 thing and said that's what's wrong with you. And because my anxiety still enables me to leave the house there's not much they can do for me. The information I gave her was really concerning but she absolutely did not give a hoot. I've been seeking medical help from my doctor since 2013, yet she blamed my condition on something that's happened in the last 2 year's, I don't understand how she worked that 1 out. I feel let down, and disappointed i really thought they would offer more help then talking in group sessions or via a zoom call. I hope the next person has a better experience. I left feeling worse! Writing things down and shaking your head isn't a good look either! It made me feel stupid, or like what I was saying wasn't good enough. I felt like she couldn't be bothered or like I was a problem.
