This place took up my time every Wednesday from 3pm-4pm, never liked going would get bribed with a dinner of my choice. (Was the only good part) This place ruled my childhood and adolescence in all the wrong ways, thank god I'm 18 now. This place taught me to deal with it because even the "professionals" don't want to hear your problems. Got told I wasn't underweight enough to go on a meal plan, professional told my parents everything ( when it wasn't a safeguarding concern) please for the love of god do NOT send your kid here if you actually have their best interest in mind.

They don’t even listen you see someone who you never seen before and they make judgments and take you of medication you been on 30 years and think nothing of how it will damage or effect your mental health at all.. they don’t care shameless mental health more like I don’t care what happens they are ruthless uncaring.. dr who ever she was cold and inconsiderate and thinks she can play god with yr life and meds.. shame on you all.. you definitely end up feeling so bad and wish you had never bothered with them.. there are one 2 lovely care workers but the ones who play god with yr mental health need a reality check in how to be mindful be respectful to the needs of different mental health issues.. the so called decision makers need to go back and train again on how to be human and listen for a change.. I wish this place would change it hasn’t since the 90s.. still cold uncaring and just wanting am to play with yr life.. mental health isn’t something to play with or take lightly ..

My own experience of this place is excellent. Poor mental health is frightening and can feel very lonely. The team at Desborough house
do everything they can to make the journey back to wellness as smooth and as supported as possible . Thank you.

Absolutely shocking, have a mental illness for 22yrs,, my GP referred me to you for help and you won't accept my referral. After speaking with some members of staff I found you to be extremely unhelpful and quite rude and if anything you're attitude there would make people's mental health worse!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!

I was referred to them in Feb 2021 and had an assessment. The letter I received was vague/inaccurate and Amy Slade refused to contact me to discuss the inaccurate information. I raised a complaint bit it was ignored.
I was told to deal with the situation and MH problems alone without any support, and kill myself as not worth even a phone call.
The CMHT are a contributing factor to MH issues. Avoid at all costs.

i was referd to you by my doctor around 3 weeks ago and got the letter quite quick in the post for a appointment after my doctor made sure i was seen sooner rather then later. so i went along to the appointment with a very good friend of mine. i was having bad anxiety before i even went in the room but between me and my friend we were able to explain in detail what has been going on with me the last few months. at the end of the meeting i was told that they would descue with the team on treatment options and they would get back to me in the next few weeks i have been waiting over 2 weeks now with no phone call or letter im very disappointment its hard enough talking about how much your struggling and now i have been left yet again to cope on my own.

I have been around the block with different MH teams and from speaking to Craig I really thought this would be different but they would save money and be more useful if they just handed out nooses, it has been over 2 month of waiting and nothing but excuses. Thanks alot
