awful experience! would rate 0 stars if i could!
was told after being sent for cbt that they couldn’t help me any further- this was the only thing they did to try to help me! i then asked for a face to face where no one showed up- i waited 45 minutes. i still haven’t had any contact from her and i left a note with reception detailing what i wanted to go through at the appointment. the first 3 appointments were phone calls where the member of staff (Yaa) was always late (once she was over an hour) only talked to me for 10 minutes max at a time! wouldn’t let me really talk as she kept interrupting me. she also said she would refer me to a pharmaceutical psychologist to get me on mood stabilisers- which she did do after a 2 week holiday and didn’t pass it to anyone else- i still haven’t heard anything regarding this either- i was referred at the end of november. I would say they were crap but they weren’t even that good. really unprofessional- this service is the worst mental health experience i have ever had- CAMHS was better!

Had an assessment with Danny, who lied on the phone saying I hung up on him. I am sure the call was recorded, so it would be easy to find and prove. Since my informal assessment I had been prescribed a lower dose by mistake of one of my anti depressants and this took weeks and many phone calls to sort out the error. I haven't heard anything for weeks now, and had relapsed with alcohol once. Nobody cares, nobody calls.

They are generally good and helpful but when things out of your control happen and you miss a session they will harshly and unfairly punish it basically and have threatened to kick me out of psychology because I missed some sessions either due to sickness, unexpected work shifts or personal issues. I've explained this multiple times and every time they seem to go back to step 1 again and make the same threats of expulsion. I get missing sessions is bad and I understand that but there's no consideration at all. Absolutely awful

Has caused me more bad than good overall. Truly, I have felt kindness don't get me wrong- the people are wonderful. But if you struggle with mental health I suggest you go somewhere else where what you say isn't used against you. 🙂 Not to blame the people at all, it's not their choice per se but go private instead.

Did everything that was asked from I access and doctor who was supposed to refer me to phycology for some help and support and was continuously over months and months fobbed off, left waiting, and when I pressed it to ask what was happening I was spoken to in a aggressive bullying tone and nothing ever got anywhere no matter what I did. Half a year later and despite chasing it up and being promised help by psychiatrist, nothing has happened. This can't be an accident, truth is they just don't give a toss and are pieces of work.

I called on Wednesday for some help - they told me someone from duty was going to call me back that day or the next. Noone phoned and they are not open on the weekends, i then phoned on monday and was told they would discuss my situation at the daily team meeting and get back to me that day - i heard nothing and then called again on Wednesday, they told me again that they would discuss it at the daily team meeting and get back to me that day. It is now Friday and i have phoned the person on duty doesnt know the person who was on duty monday or Wednesday. They will apparently discuss my case at a team meeting in 10 days. I explained how much i was struggling and have gotten zero support. Their lack of communication with each other and me is insane and the lack of support they have offered is dangerous.

Amazing was bought in by amblunce police on 136 under mental health . I was assment 1 group people didnt want to understand me what i need staff at places was amazing. 2nd people understood me . I in a hosptail in unit with support i need and care. Im off 136 now.

I have been in the care of two doctors at the CMHRS. One was far too cautious, the second was bold, and decisive and instilled in me a justified feeling of confidence in his decisions.
You can't buy that, and I didn't have too!
