My Grandad lived at Colne View the last few months of his life and what an amazing place it is. All of the staff are so friendly, caring and attentive not only to the residents themselves but also the families and friends who come to visit. This can be tough from experience but with the facilities, staff and confidence in knowing they are in the best place, Colne View just made everything a lot easier and brought my family a sense of relief and comfort. We really enjoyed the coffee shop facility, it meant visiting him was pleasant and we could sit as a family with tea and cake and feel some sense of normality being all together. The residents get to enjoy engaging activities, we used to love seeing photos of my Grandad taking part, with a smile on his face. Colne View is nothing short of brilliant and me and my family are so grateful for the amazing facilities, staff and the general community feel this place offered, in a hard time you were there for us.

I frequently visit residents of Colne view in a professional capacity. Home is very welcoming, all staff I have communicated with have always been very happy to help with any queries I have. They take data protection seriously and keeping residents safe. There are many activities for the residents to partake in. The food always smells amazing and the residents tell me it is as good as it smells. Staff and residents all appear to be very happy and content with either living or working there. Very nice atmosphere throughout. Always clean and a fresh scent throughout. Has a nice coffee area where residents and their friends and relatives can sit and enjoy a chat away from other communal areas.
If and when the time comes I would be very happy for any of my relatives to reside at Colne view care home.

I attend the Forget-Me-Not Cafe and take the Church Services held at Colne View Care Home often which are very friendly, welcoming and supportive of those people who require care and support. The Staff at this Care Home are so kind, professional and supportive people who dedicate themselves to looking after the residence and the visitors. The Home has a wonderful ambiance, it is warm and very clean with a comfortable and supportive environment. There are quite a number of events arranged for the residence to attend at the Home as well as outings arranged to various places, all of which are considerate of people’s conditions such as disabilities and dementia friendly. This is an Amazing Care Home and actually it’s worthy of Five Stars plus! Suzie

My first impression was that it did not smell like a care home.
The staff were very polite and helpful. It had more the feel of a hotel than care home. It was very clean and tidy. I was made to feel welcome. The residence looked well looked after. If ever I needed to go into care I would go there. There is also numerous events going on with a weekly timetable of activities. I can not recommend Colne View highly enough.

Great care home!
My Nan has dementia and has recently moved in to Colne View.

The staff are amazing, caring and take the time to get to know each resident.
We are also recognised by the staff each time we go in and they take a genuine interest in us as well.

The café by the entrance is an added benefit that we love!
We can visit Nan and take her ‘out’ to the coffee shop for a very nice coffee (or in my case, hot chocolate) and a piece of cake made on site by the kitchen staff!

I would 100% recommend colne view to anyone looking at care homes for their elderly relatives.

I don’t post comments on Google very often unless I’m really impressed by something.
I can’t thank Colne View enough for their help and kindness with my friend who struggled to find a suitable care home for the last three years. The staff are unbelievably kind and attentive not only to the residents but to the visiting family and friends. I believe good communication is key in any role in life and the communication I receive from Colne View with updates and the welcome i get on visiting is outstanding compared to all the other care homes that I have experienced.
Im so happy to see my friend settled and treated with respect in a professional yet personal manner. I would recommend Colne View to anyone without a doubt .

I am a singer and have been entertaining here for the last two years . I love coming here as it is such a wonderful atmosphere. All of the staff from the entertainment team to the management interact so well with the residents.This ensures that everyone joins in with the fun. The residents are always happy whenever I have visited and it is so nice to see them all so friendly with the staff and with each other. I cannot fault here in any way . Congratulations to everyone at Colne View .

This is truly a fantastic home from home.

Every single member of staff are so friendly, we are able to call for updates as and when needed.

The rooms are spotlessly clean - we especially like the en-suite toilet and shower

The menu choices are varied every day and they cater for fussy eaters

They have a great Café for visitors and residents to use any time of day with complimentary hot drinks and freshly baked cakes

There’s plenty of activities to take part in twice a day, also dementia choir, host a roast and dancing with dementia starting soon

There really is nothing around to match it

Well done to all at Colne View - Kim Richardson, Tina & Sue Willoughby were exceptionally helpful for us, showing us round and settling us in and put our minds at rest in the early days
