Thought we would struggle to find the building itself but it's just off to the left as you come from Charlton kings. Very easy to find and if you miss it there's a roundabout at both sides you can turn around and go back easily enough.

Special mention to the cleaners of the building. It was spotless.

Free tea, coffee and water available. As well as snacks you could pay cash or card to have.

Scans for one area average at £450. Luckily I was referred through the NHS so I got my scan for free. However this made no difference to the service I received.

I was treated with kindness, consideration and informed of anything I needed to know.

The scan lasted roughly 40 minutes? I'm guessing anyway..as there wasn't a clock inside the machine ?

I was offered earplugs and headphones and asked what radio station I preferred. I was also handed an emergency button to contact the radiographer should I need to during the procedure.

Toilets are fully accessible, there are lockers to store away your valuables and plenty of on site parking.

Overall a very pleasant experience for a rather intrusive procedure.

An extremely professional unit. I was referred for an MRI as a part of my ongoing treatment. Reported to the reception to be greeted by a very friendly receptionist who ensured that I was booked in efficiently. I was given a car parking pass...remember if you use a car to ensure you get one of these!
The staff conducting the procedure were fabulous. They explained every detail of what was going to happen.They also ensured that they answered all of my questions and were kindness personified..ensuring that I had no outstanding concerns and the made sure that I was aware of the noises that the machine made.
The whole unit felt new and fresh and i would have no hesitation in recommending it.
Two years later and I have been referred for another MRI...this time I went to the Cobalt Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Again it was a superb experience...wonderful staff and top quality equipment. Everyone was kind and helpful.. and even laughed at my (rubbish) nervous jokes! Thank you all....you have started this scary journey of mine in the best way possible.

Attended Cobalt for an MRI scan on my spine, and they were very professional and very freindly. I received excellent customer service and the establishment was very clean and tidy as you would expect. Highly recommend for an imaging centre.

Visited recently and I must admit I was really impressed. I've never had a PET scan before but the lady who cared for me was absolutely lovely and answered any questions I had fully. It's extremely clean and the time I spent there was actually really enjoyable!!

Went to Cobalt today and the place was great, and very clean. From their waiting area, to their toilets, to their scan rooms, just amazing! A huge A++ for the staffs who are so nice, friendly and professionals. Thank you for your great service!

Been to Colbalt Unit today for my wife to have a PET Scan.
From start to finish the unit and Staff are absolutely fantastic, friendly, helpful, compassionate very polite and helpful.I listened to an elderly Lady coming in to check in her Husband for an X-ray however the poor lady’s husband wasn’t booked in there, however the Reception staff made a big effort to help and they made a few phone calls and found out it was Cheltenham Hospital much to the Ladies relief.
Such a nice and caring thing to do.
My wife came out from her scan praising the staff and settings very impressed and the whole process was explained very efficiently from start to finish.
