Our first stay here and we were worried about some of the negative reviews. On this occasion I’m pleased to say all went well. We stayed in a 3 bed platinum lodge which was beautifully furnished and decorated. It was very well maintained and had everything you needed. The view was amazing. The decking area had wonderful furniture. The whole site is on a steep hill so not suitable for those with mobility issues although you can drive up the resort to the lodges so wasn’t an issue. The restaurant on site was very nice and the food delicious and fresh with a varied menu. The pool and gym were also great. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. The views alone were breathtaking. Lots to do in the area and a fantastic time had by all the family. It was very quiet on site which was lovely but I expected it to be busier given it was the school holidays.

Great location for a ‘father and daughter’ holiday to Devon and Cornwall… 5th year in a row we have stayed here, as a base to tour such a lovely part of the country. ||The site is quiet and clean with outstanding views of Teignmouth and the Sea in a great location.||The gym and pool are kept spotless and the reception staff alwsys have a smile on their face and are really helpful with their local knowledge too.||Happy to recommend, as friends originally did to us. We will be back 😊

Having holidayed here in June 2024 in a silver caravan with a fantastic view sitting on its balcony we decided to return in 2025. I thought i would book early so in December i booked a silver caravan (2 bedroom) checking the availability calendar on Coastviews website. I received an e-mail confirming this off them on 6th December.|In May only a few weeks before holiday i received a telephone call off Coastview informing me my booking was no longer available so i had been "upgraded" to a 3 bedroom chalet. I am sorry to say but the word "upgrade" does not apply as (1) Parking with a silver caravan its right next to caravan whereas the chalet parking is 15 - 20 yards away. (2) Their are only two of us so three bedrooms not needed and (3) As said before the view from the silver caravan (inside and out) was amazing (it was the main reason to return) but the view from the chalet inside and on the balcony was non-existent as there is a hedge/tree/bush right next to and around the balcony so we ended up sitting in the chalet and not outside. This totally spoilt a "looking forward to" holiday and we ended up leaving two days early. I did speak to a couple of receptionists on the site desk who (one said 12 the other 8) said that there was only that many owners who rent. The site seemed a bit deserted on the days we were there and when i spoke a caravan owner he agreed. He also said the site gets 20% of any bookings for rentals. The chalet we stayed in is site owned so they get 100% so, call me cynical, but it makes you think. I would suggest rental caravan owners check their diaries for when we stayed 21st to 28th June 2025 (hardly peak season) but if they are all rented out why were we singled out to be moved? |It makes a mockery of the "check availability" calendar on their website if , just a few weeks before, your accommodation is changed (not for the better).|It was pointless complaining to the site manager as what could they have done if (as they say) no silver caravans were available but i did leave my feelings on their "comments form" which has my contact details but as yet i have had no correspondence and i doubt there will be any to this on here.

Spent a week as a family in one of the lodges here. Out first impression was wow. Lodge is extremely well appointed and comfortable with amazing views at a reasonable price. On site facilities are really good and the Bucket and Spade restaurant serves great food. Cannot wait to go back here.

You should be aware you can book but you may not get what you have booked.||Their system is this, as explained to me by Will the General Manager||1. You book as we did during the latter part of last year, Silver Lodge, the height of luxury with panoramic views of Teignmouth, and the the sea. We had stayed twice before, absolutely incredible.||2. The Problem, you may book it, it doesn't mean you will get it. Their system is that they allocate the lodge or other accommodation only 2 weeks before you are due to arrive.|you cannot book by plot at the time of booking, effectively you are in a lottery as to where you may be assigned. |In our case we received a call 10 Days before our arrival date informing us that there wasn't a Silver lodge available and all they could offer us was a refurbished Chalet that was brand new, we were assured that the views were as good as the booked item, the booking office allayed our fears and we felt quite confident as we had visited the site twice before without incidence. Therefore we tentatively accepted the compromise, although not happily but we also had friends staying on the same site, so cancelling was out of the question.||3. Arrival, check in went ok and we received the key. we were presented with a semi-detached Chalet which had no comparison to the level of lodge we had booked, Silver Lodge, luxuriously furnished with panoramic views. We were allocated a Chalet clean and tidy with a very limited view due to its position and a wall of Conifers, we were not happy.||4.Resolution, Having arrived on the Monday we received a visit from the customer liaison Haley, we told her we were disappointed with the substitute property, she mentioned had we been offered any recompense I replied no.|On the Wednesday morning I visited the site office to speak with the manager, unfortunately he wasn't in work until the Thursday but the receptionist agreed to send him an email outlining the complaint.|Thursday I visited the office again an asked the manager what he was prepared to do by way of recompense, he went to his office and came back with a paper outlining a discount applied against the price of the Chalet that we didn't book anyway the figures not even related to our original booking. so, we were paying the same for a product we didn't order. So no recompense for inconvenience. Worse still the price quoted against was inflated to make it look like he was doing us a favour, this I checked online and the price for the same type of product was lower, so no recompense.|I questioned the manager as to why owner renters can withdraw offers of rental without honouring the booking, He retorted ''they just can, in fact we have quite a lot of complaints with regard to Gold Lodge bookings that find themselves down by the road after thinking that they would be high up the hill with views''. What an absolute nonsense their system is whereupon you cannot book a type and plot with confidence.|For clarity we didn't receive any recompense.|It of course was made worse by having to deal with the most supercilious person I've had the misfortune to meet.|NEVER AGAIN, BOOK IF YOU DARE!

A great place to get to stay with fantastic on site facilities. Small but adequate gym, a lovely warm swimming pool but most of all, a little sanctuary offering lots of different treatments, we had the massages that sent us into heaven, a great therapist there with pure good intentions to deliver a fantastic treatment, we will definitely be back for more treatments and fitness when we next visit.
