I cannot say how much Clouds House, helped me. The stock were amazing so friendly so supportive so kind. The food was absolutely stunning 100%. I cannot recommend enough the Councilor’s the medical team the housekeeping the kitchen stuff every single person that makes Clouds work were amazing. I am so grateful to have been one of their patients.

I was in Clouds House back in January 1986. I never got recovery but it was definitely the beginning of my journey with a great structured program. I am now 27 years free from all drugs and have the privilege to frequent Clouds again on a voluntary basis. From what I can make out, the structure has barely changed and the recovery success rate seems really good. 3 fellows from 1986 are still drug free and coming up to 40 years continuous recovery. True modern day miracles. Thank you Clouds House.

I stayed at Clouds in the summer of 2023. It is an intense programme with strict rules but it got me clean and my life back. The work there feeds into the 12 step programmes and was the kick start I needed for my recovery. The counsellors were caring and gave so much as did everyone working there from the kitchen team to admin. I am so grateful that I went.

A false positive test for a substance I don't even use had me discharged 2 weeks early.
The facility medical team were understanding of the false positive and stated at the time that it can happen. The councillors, however, discharged me first thing the following day. Extremely corrupt and very unfair treatment facility.

I went to Clouds House twice: in 1989 and then again in 1990. The first time I went ‘through the motions’, had the recovery jargon firmly in my brain, refused to go to half-way house, and relapsed 5 months later. It took a lot of pride swallowing (I felt deeply ashamed) to go back again, but I did and found all the staff kind and understanding. I then got on with the hard work. I finally understood that the rules were there for good reasons and I that had to let go and learn humility. Now, 34 years on, I have had a happy, sober and fulfilling life, retrained as a counsellor myself, and am now living a peaceful retirement. Thank you for everything.❤️
